I don't mind the special event patch in addition to a logo patch - that setup is pretty nice. But having two logo patches that aren't different (One's a big A, the other's a smaller A in a circle, oooohhhh clever!!) is just lame. Smart is believing half of what you hear. I'd argue that there is no excuse for two patches (aside from tributes and other temporary stuff) anyway. But the Angels made it that much worse but using the same logo as the centerpiece of each...it would be better (or less bad but still awful) if they just went "hockey" and used the same exact logo. And it's even worse since the very same logo is on the hat and on the first letter of the wordmark. That's four times on the uniform. Overall, I happen to think this is the best the Angels have ever looked. But they need to tone that down. I'd like them to go with no sleeve patch at all (because I like the halo on the wordmark, but two is enough). I keep expecting to see the "A's" on names-on-back haloed. And maybe the Angels can be MLB's first team to use alternate captains so two players can have yet another halo-A on their jerseys. Disclaimer: If this comment is about an NBA uniform from 2017-2018 or later, do not constitute a lack of acknowledgement of the corporate logo to mean anything other than "the corporate logo is terrible and makes the uniform significantly worse." It's not a huge preference, the current version is perfectly fine. I just prefer the way the outlines of the previous B were integrated into the spokes. The current version just looks like the B was slapped on top of the spokes and wheel. It seems less integrated. Orlando Magic: Ditch those stupid side panels and that set would be the perfect evolution of the original Magic uniforms. Indianapolis Colts: Bring the striped socks back. Louisville Cardinals Football: Switch to Nike Louisville Cardinals Basketball: nothing really Louisville Bats: Revert back to the black and purple. Or a Fisherman throwback? (Fat chance on the last one.) Senators - If you're referring to the barbershop version, I totally agree. Flyers - NO! Their current ones look great. Canucks - YES!!!
