Uggh, GARBAGE. The Kings are hard enough to care about without bringing back the trashy throwback style logo. If the colors are powder blue and red, I'm gonna puke.

Ugh...this looks like a case of trying too hard to please everyone and creating a jumbled mess doing it. I'm just not sure how I feel yet about re-hashing the old logo.  The "SAC" one could make a good secondary mark but I don't think that old logo as a primary is a good idea.  Not feeling the lion stuff either.

Nice! Another team returning to a more appropriate logo, following the lead of the Sixers and the Jazz, not to mention the Blue Jays, Orioles, Astros, and Brewers. It shows that good taste has not gone extinct in this Oregon-Duckified world.

I hope that this encouraging trend continues, and that the Nets will decide to follow it.

If the colors are purple and light blue/black, I actually like this set. Those alternate logos really set a regal tone, and is something you can build an entire brand around. I don't know how unpopular this sentiment is, but I think the Kings previous logo was in the bottom 10 in the league, so something fairly clean and simple to coincide with the new arena is a great thing.

If purple's involved, this is going to look great. If it's red-white-blue, it's going to be a swing and a miss. Color's going to be the big factor in this one

Agreed.  They have to keep the purple but I think combining it with light blue is a horrible idea though. The Jazz used to have something similar and I thought that was awful.  I know it won't happen, but I wouldn't mind seeing purple/silver, with a bit of mustard gold or copper used as a 3rd color.

New Alt logos posted below. I went to the team's account and noticed their profile picture:

That's their current Twitter avatar.

Powder blue will most likely be used in the new scheme in some way. I can't see them promoting the color like this, only to not use it. What we don't know is how much or how little it's going to be used.

If they fusion both eras into one, I'll be extremely sceptical. That color scheme does gets utilized in fashion, art deco, etc. But translating it onto a professional men's basketball team, that's a whole other ballgame.

I like them all, frankly.  I think the blue will be integrated as an alt (because money).

Honestly, I really don't think they're all that bad. Of course I'll have to wait to see colors to make a full judgement, but I'm really fine with these (well, maybe not the "SAC" logo because I hate the whole city abbreviations trend, but it's to be expected these days).

Granted, I'm going to miss the heck out of the current logo and the black-purple-silver (the Mitch Richmond uniform set is still one of my favorites in NBA history), but this ain't all bad.

I like the idea of the modern retro style of the logos but the crown looks terrible, it looks like a sinking ship, it would be better if they removed those two spikes poking out of the crown. While I like the secondary lion logos, they have much more of a European Soccer feel than a NBA feel.

i have unquantifiable corpses on my conscience
