There's no reason they can't do purple/blue instead of red/blue. That's what I'm hoping for. Then use either red or royal blue as a tertiary color for trim. The_Admiral Posted April 23, 2016 Share Posted April 23, 2016 I liked royal purple and powder blue for Utah. I don't like it for Sacramento, where it's a compromise that leaves no one happy. Instead of going to dark blue and light blue like everyone else was in 2004, the Jazz should have just stripped the palette down to purple and blue while dropping the green, copper, and black. I can't tell you much I hated those uniforms and yet some mooks here were like "I love it, it screams Utah." It was practically MS WordArt and Impact on a blank jersey! Yeah, the logo had purple but the uniforms were navy and powder blue. I (and many others) kept saying they should have swapped the navy out for purple and ran with it. I hope the Kings steer clear of that. Agreed. I think its a horrible combo, and I don't want to see anymore red or blue in the league. Stick to the purple and black as the main colors. I blame the bland jerseys (aside from the light blue alternates) more than anything, personally. The colors could work under a cleaner set IMO.
