Los Angeles Lakers Something a little different for the Lakers, a predominantly purple jersey with simple yellow details, including a Minneapolis Lakers-inspired wordmark, complete with stars. deanjrobinson Posted May 15, 2016 Author Share Posted May 15, 2016 Day fifteen. Memphis Grizzlies I’ve changed things up for the Grizzlies by abandoning their current colour scheme entirely. Instead I’ve opted to use elements from their original palette, focusing heavily on the brown/bronze colour which only played a minor part in their original look – it was used as used within the trim on the inaugural Vancouver Grizzlies gear, but eventually disappeared from the unis. My original plan was for a brown jersey with red, white, and turquoise trimming, however it didn’t work as well as I’d hoped so I swapped the turquoise out for the deeper brown I’d used on the re-coloured logos. I like what you did with Charlotte, the Lakers, and Houston, as well the out-of-the-box thinking with Detroit, but I'm just not feeling the Memphis colors. I feel that teal or light blue would work better in place of the lighter brown, red, or even white. You've got something there with the Grizzlies, but it's just not quite there--keep at it! Miami Heat A variation on the ‘white hot’ jersey that the Heat have worn in the past, however not being a huge fan of the complete white-on-white look, I’ve throw in a splash of colour using the Floridians’ magenta and orange. After a season in our new look, I've decided I really don't care for the black alternate. Something like this would be much better. Kinda reminds me of the navy OKC set. I'd suggest either a cream alternate, or have the Wisconsin part of the logo in there somewhere. Edit: Oh wait... if you wanted to really go out on a limb you could do a blue jersey, emphasizing that color even though it is more subtle throughout the rest of the set. Minnesota Timberwolves Went with something quick and simple for the Wolves, roughly based on their original road jerseys, but updated with a more modern wordmark (slightly simpler version compared to the one they currently use on their jerseys). New Orleans Pelicans Nothing wild or crazy for the New Orleans, all I really wanted was a basic white home jersey featuring ‘Pelicans’ across the front instead of ‘New Orleans’.
