Combining the 70's logo with the iconic (and legally untouchable) bullet logo seemed to be their best option to wash away the peel. I've been getting accustomed to their now old logo because of how they used it's versatility for each character... --- This change is completely unnecessary and way too early. They dropped the ball. I think starting with Suicide Squad there will be a noted effort to make their movies more vibrant, traditional, and fun in order to battle moviegoers exhaustion with DC trying to make every goddamn movie Batman Begins. It feels a bit empty, but it's a step in the right direction never the less. At least the peel was creative, though I really don't care for its skeuomorphic design. The bright blue is also a bit much. Any of Foxxtrot's recolours is a big improvement. FletchNZ Posted May 18, 2016 Share Posted May 18, 2016 I think that with the hitches in the "C" and "D", they are trying to do a thing like with Superman's "S" shield, and fit it into the circle frame so that the edges touch, the way the "S" fits into the diamond shape, if you see where I'm coming from.
