The United States Patent & Trademark Office database indicates that trademark protection for Ohio Glory is "DEAD", with cancellation having taken place on September 20, 1999. burgundy Posted June 7, 2016 Share Posted June 7, 2016 Names have been chosen. Breakers and Aviators are probably the best of the bunch, and Rush is ok. Appearently Denver had been calling themselves the Cobras; I'm guessing because the design on their shirt looks like the head of a cobra, and it's possibly a Dodgeball reference too. Now I'm disappointed they didn't go with that. One of their three choices was Vipers, and I'm wondering if the people running this thing just thought, "A snake's a snake," and didn't get the cobra significance at all.
