Up next, instead of the Sarnia Sailors, are the Chatham Maroons who lasted a little longer in the league. For the Maroons, I kept their maple leaf logo as a secondary mark while creating a simple traditional main logo. They are the IHL affiliates of the Ottawa Senators. Growing up as a Kalamazoo Wings fan, I always associated the Komets look with the "bad guys". I did manage to work up one for the Muskegon Lumberjacks though. For the Lumberjacks, I went with a flannel inspired color scheme and a manly logo inspired by the lumberjack on the original logo. For the Rivermen, I went with a simple shield logo that isn't overly busy like some minor league logos. The color scheme is a more nautical one than their original Blues rip-offs.
