4_tattoos
I'd have the 72 Dolphins lose to the Redskins in Super Bowl VII. Primary reason, I'm a Skins fan lol. There has been no escape from SB7 highlights. Even though it was over a decade before my time, it sucks seeing footage of my team losing the big game every friggin year. SB7 highlights are shown way more often than those from SB18 (in which the Skins were blown out by the Raiders). Changing this outcome gives my Skins another Super Bowl win, as well as save us all from decades of Mercury Morris' ego lol Hotter Than July > Thriller
TBGKon
2003 World Series, because we all know it should've been the Cubs beating the Yankees and not the Marlins.
kroywen
Without question, the 2001 World Series. Aside from that, the last few minutes of the 2011-12 Premier League season. To go from United winning the league, to City (of all teams) winning a shock victory after two goals in three minutes in stoppage time against a freaking 10-man QPR... so painful. Magnus
Far too many to list, but I'll say: Every Yankees World Series win. Every Patriots Super Bowl win. Every Steelers SB win. 2004 and 2010 Stanley Cup Final, as well as any Final the Devils won, and any Final the Habs won. Any LeBron championship. 2007 Ontario Hockey League Final. That's enough for now.

DnBronc
1. 2000 Western Conference Finals. No collapse in the fourth quarter. Blazers beat LA, and go on to beat Indiana. Then, with a more positive vibe the next year, they don't collapse, and they beat the 76ers for their second straight title (Sabonis retires as a result). The Shaq-Kobe combo probably breaks up three years earlier (with no rings. In 01, it's Kobe that's more than likely on the move), and you probably don't see the Frail Blazer era begin in 2006 with the drafting of Roy and Aldridge (with Oden to follow the next year). 2. Have the AFC Playoffs go differently from 1992-94. No Buffalo-Dallas SB's. No San Diego Chargers. Just two straight appearances by the Oilers in 92 and 93, which would leave 94 up in the air because Moon probably stays as a result.

Lights Out
Aside from any championships that my teams have lost: Rams win Super Bowl XXXVI, sparing us all from the Patriots' reign of arrogance Cardinals win Super Bowl XLIII, capping off their Cinderella run Kings win the 2002 NBA Finals because the WCF is called fairly Butler beats Duke and UConn for back-to-back national titles POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/

Back to the question, I would've given the Bills the last Super Bowl they played in, not the first. This way, their narrative is how resilient they were to finally break through, rather than a 'dynasty' that should've been. Honorable mentions worthy of discussion: Super Bowl 40 2013 Stanley Cup 2006 NBA Finals Super Bowl 34 2009 Stanley Cup Super Bowl 43 Sadly, the teams I like haven't been in many title games or series, so I'd have to try the more altruistic route. Rockstar Matt
- The '94 NFC Championship game between the Cowboys and 49ers. Cowboys beat the Niners, go on to crush the Chargers and would have been considered one of the greatest teams of all-time with 4 straight Super Bowls. Essentially, the anti-Bills. - 2008 NBA Finals. Lakers beat the Celtics and Kobe would ultimately end up tying Jordan's six 'ships with the beginning of another 3-peat. - 2014 Round of 16 match between the US and Belgium. Chris Wondolowski either puts his shot on target, or cleverly taps the ball to Dempsey on his immediate left and Dempsey scores the game winning goal in the 93rd minute. (The real play still haunts me. Everytime I watch it, I always think that this time the US actually scores in that moment). Cowboys - Lakers - LAFC - USMNT - LA Rams - LA Kings - NUFC
DG_ThenNowForever
Yeah, that Belgium loss is brutal. Every time I see Wondo score a goal in MLS, I think about the wide open net he had against Belgium. Yeah, I can't really complain about times my team were in the finals, but the 02 NBA West Finals still bugs me just for what it could've done for Sacramento. I'm not even a Kings fan any longer (that series basically killed the NBA for me until pretty recently), but had that not gone down in that manner, I probably would still be. As it stands now, the Kings haven't been much more than an afterthought since then, and that series nearly cost Sacramento their only pro sports team. I used used to wanna change 02, but it kinda made the recent titles more sweet, and it's probably better Bonds didn't end up with a ring as a player. Morgan33
2004 Stanley Cup Finals Gelinas' phantom goal counts, Flames capture the cup in Calgary as the city and (most of) Canada rejoices. 2006 Stanley Cup Finals Roloson doesn't get injured. Back to back Stanley Cup victories for Alberta. 2011 Stanley Cup Finals Aaron Rome doesn't deliver the late hit to wake up the Bruins. Canucks end their 40 year drought as all 3 western Canadian teams win a championship in the span of 7 years. *sigh*

Roloson deserved a Cup that year, and I don't really like seeing extremely Non-Traditional franchises win a Cup before Minnesota... (Yeah, Yeah, I know, like that's ever really going to happen, and Tampa is really developing as a more traditional Market Lately... Unlike Carolina...) But I wouldn't change the 2011 Finals, cause I enjoy seeing the Canuckleheads struggle... "And those who know Your Name put their trust in You, for You, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You." crashcarson15
Everyone’s friendly reminder that Wondolowski was flagged for offside on that play. Everyone’s similarly friendly reminder that Wondolowski should never be anywhere near a U.S. squad, but here we still are.
FinsUp1214
It's really hard for me not to go homer with this. I'd be ecstatic if there was some way to go back in time and tip the '97 and '98 Finals scales in the Jazz's favor. Preferably something like 4-3 Jazz in '97 and a 4-0 sweep for the Jazz in '98, haha. But aside from that, I think the two I'd really really want to change would be the 2003 Stanley Cup and Super Bowl XL. The '03 Cup so the Ducks could win their first cup wearing the classic uniforms and not the worst uniforms in hockey history, and Super Bowl XL so the Seahawks could win and not get hysterically screwed over by officiating. Or at the very least, even if they had to lose, change to where it would have been much better officiated and not royally screwed up (Hasselbeck for an illegal block in the back on his own interception return? Yeah, whatevs, refs.)
