If you could change any championship outcome, Which would it be?

If I were picking not one of my teams, I might choose the Rams over the Pats. Those Rams were too good to only have one title, and that was really earned before those Rams were Those Rams.

That and the Raiders got hosed in the 2001 AFC title game. Obviously.

06 Patriots should've defeated the Bears, not the Colts.

03-04 Flames should've defeated the Lightning- Iginla was the best player in the world that year.

94-95 Magic should've defeated the Rockets- instead of old guys winning, usher in a fresh winning era.  Instead, Shaq went to LA where Kobe ended up a spoiled brat.

Actually, the 06 Chargers should have defeated the Pats, Colts, and Bears.

And Shaq turned into the new Michael Jordan because he was the benefactor of bad calls. It was ashame that the Shaq-Penny show broke up.

As much as I love "the tackle" I think I would change the end result of Super Bowl 34 (Rams vs Titans). To my knowledge no Super Bowl has ended on a game winning touchdown pass as time expired. Would have been nice to see it happen there.

IIRC that drive was to tie the game. The Titans were down 7 and it's safe to say if they had scored there's no way the Titans would've gone for 2 with the Super Bowl on the line (thought that would've been one of the all-time do or die sports moments ever). They in all certainty would've kicked the extra point and we would've had our first and only overtime Super Bowl and that would've been cool in its own way, but that pass was not to win the game.

Here's all of them for KC to me:

Royals:

1976 through 1978 American League Championship Series, 1980 World Series, and 2014 World Series (Still bitter about that even with the championship from last year)

Chiefs:

Super Bowl 1 (Just as a what-if Super Bowl III upset was earlier),1971 AFC Divisional Round vs Dolphins on Christmas, 1993 AFC Championship Game 1995 AFC Divisional Round vs Colts, 1997 AFC Divisional Round vs Broncos, 2003 AFC Divisional Round vs Colts, Wild Card Collapse vs Colts

Kings:

1981 Western Conference Finals vs Houston Rockets

Missouri Tigers:

1960 Football National Title, Loss to Norfolk State, 2007 Football (Best Missouri team not to appear in BCS Bowl, my opinion.)

FWIW, I'm pretty sure the Titans would've lost in OT anyway. The Rams outplayed them pretty handily most of the game.

Super Bowl 42- not the Pats winning, but if they were going to be denied 19-0, I would have rather it been Green Bay or Dallas instead of a mediocre 10-6 Giants team that only seemed to give a damn when playing on the road (Also the only SB champ I can ever recall that did not have one statement win at home) with Eli Manning basically playing Good Rex Grossman from the year prior.

I honestly believe had the Packers been the team to go on to beat that Patriot team in the Super Bowl, Favre would have actually retired after the season. Brett goes out on top with GB getting his second Super Bowl ring. Goes down in sports history as the hero that defeated the Big Bad Super Patriots. Never goes to the Jets and Vikings.

The Aaron Rodgers era still begins in 2008, although with higher expectations coming off a championship. Everything else for Rodgers and the Pack could play out the same way it did in real life.

I would change the Bellingham elementary school basketball championship of 1980. The winners got an all-expense paid trip and introduction before a Sonics game. Unfortunately, the team/individual photos were taken after the game, so my dad, in a bit of cruelty has put that picture on his wall in the guest room. I looked very tired/upset, as did the whole team.

I know it's not a Super Bowl or World Series, but that one has sit with me since, the closest I got to winning any sorts of sports title. I don't know who it was against or the final score, all I know is we lost...

Wonder if that makes a difference in them staying or going to Sac-Town in 1985.

I was hoping that WVU and Missouri would win over Pitt and OU. A Mountaineer-Tiger National Title Game in the Bayou would have been cool.

I'd change the 1998 World Series to a Padres win over the seemingly unstoppable Yankees. It would have been a great story.

Or I'd change the 2010 World Series to a Giants loss... and it hopefully would have curtailed their even year World Series run.

College Football: Even though it's not a championship game, I'd pick 2011 TCU v. Boise State. If Boise's kicker didn't miss a last-second FG, Boise finishes the season with an undefeated record and gets selected for the BCS Title instead of Alabama.

I would hope the Kings stay. I know Missouri would stay in the Big XII if they got in the National Title Game at least once.
