Put a nice rat pack theme to it, but rats are fierce and strike fear, is very unique, and is short and to the point. I don't see how that is appropriate name for a sports team !..........unless Adam Silver was the owner

Then when that fails, try Atlanta for a 3rd time, making them the Atlanta Phoenix. After that fails, finally give Quebec their Nordiques back. Cosmic
Man, it's hard to believe that there's really going to be an NHL team in Vegas that's not the Coyotes. Then again, Bill Foley seems surprised, too.

Las Vegas is completely different than Buffalo. For one there are so many more attractions as well at Las Vegas any team already has to compete with that. It also has to deal with the fact that most of the population in Las Vegas at any one time are tourists and aren't invested in a local team like they would be in buffalo. The locals aren't going to be the ones they are trying to pull into games, they are gonna be trying to pull in tourists with the disposable income available, and these tourist would probably rather visit a football game rather than a hockey game unless their home town team was there. Depends on if the team will heavily rely on away team fans and tourists. If Vegas can build a solid home fan base and the expansion team is decent, it'll likely be on solid ground for at least a few years. But if they can't win, people in Vegas will spend money somewhere else. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half. Yes, they'll be comping people in town for tourism reasons to the game but the entire season ticket base will be majority composed of local businesses and residents. The locals are EXACTLY the ones they're trying to build the fanbase off of. this is the same lame argument the Anti-Vegas Expansion crowd was throwing out last year and it's been refuted ad nauseum.
