Miami at the NY Jets, NFL Network on Saturday night, 5:25 pm PST.. The Rams are eligible to wear the Fearsome-Foursome jersey in all-white with the Navy Blue trim that they wore from 1965-1972, that is why they changed the helmet decal to white. The only problem is the ram horn doesn't have the angular look from the front of the helmet like it did during that Roman Gabriel era from '65-'72. The Rams will be wearing the jerseys from the link pasted below on Thursday night which to me makes no sense. They're gonna wear a helmet based on the one from 1965 to 1972, so why they didn't have Nike make a uniform based off the retro jersey and pants worn in that era is quite puzzling. they couldn't even get the helmet decal right, has no angular look to the front to give it that authentic Rams look. PaleVermilion81 Posted December 14, 2016 Share Posted December 14, 2016 It makes perfect sense as their color rush jerseys are yellow, and the Color Rush practice has been that when the 2 color rush uniforms conflict with each other, the visiting team just wears their white away uniform. It's been the practice all season. Jets, Falcons and Texans all did this. The Jets changed out their facemask. The Falcons and Texans did nothing with their helmet. The helmet would still look horribly out of place, but the whole uniform as a whole would look much more cohesive than what they wore last year.
