The Rams performance was sad. Just sad. I mean with all the dysfunction San Francisco had over the past two years; the Niners just played so much better.

It's just like the Rams didn't care. I guess they're so looking forward to next week when they play in the LA Coliseum in the regular season for the first time since the late 70s.

That was a workmanlike W for the Bengals. I don't like seeing the offensive line getting torched like that, but I suppose it's better to learn now what to focus on and correct than later. Clutch kick from Nugent, no fear from the offense on the drive to take the lead, good stand by the defense when all the Jets needed was 40 yards for field goal range. That's a game where they didn't play particularly great on the road and still won so I'm encouraged. Can't wait to get Eifert and Burfict back.

If Jeff Fisher has a head coaching job in 2017, I'd be astounded.  The guy is not a good coach at all.  All he's got is a couple years of Titans success.

Well, bright side is:

1) It can't possibly get worse, Right?

2) Good, bad, or otherwise, we have a football team again.

He's rumored to be getting an extension.

Seriously.

The only reason Fisher gets an extension is so that they can fire him just in time to debut a new head coach and new #1 pick rookie for the 2019 opening of their stadium.

Browns fact: The Browns are 1-17 in opening games since returning to the NFL. The only time they didn't start a season 0-1 was 2004.

I wouldn't start sewing the Carson Wentz hall of fame jacket just yet.

Kevin Harlan wasn't wrong when said that was the most exciting thing to happen during the game last night.    As for the fan being drunk? Who knows, maybe he was just a 49ers employee dressed as a fan trying to entertain the fans...

You wouldn't know that Wentz isn't a HOFer listening to people in the Philadelphia area.
