They'd probably still be in the playoffs in most years, but you add one or two more divisional losses every year and all of a sudden they're playing in the wild card round and they don't have home field to the Super Bowl. Their division makes it easier for them.

If they'd played Peyton's Colts twice a year, they probably would have missed once or twice.

♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

Even though every other time this has been tried it's failed, I'm willing to be open minded about this 1. Because it means some form of football in the spring 2. Because it gives us four new logos and uniforms to complain about. But still, I don't see this lasting three years.

i have unquantifiable corpses on my conscience

According to this article, there's going to be a six game season lasting through April all housed in one location.

I don't expect there to be any logos, uniforms will probably be just colored jerseys. It seems more like an advanced training camp than a real league. If it does well, though, the league might expand. I imagine games will still be televised, not much on NFL Network during the spring. Perhaps eventually, if TV ratings are decent and there's a legitimate interest, we might see a real spring league?

That's a new record for quick semi-pro league disbandment!

Whatever, I still hope it works. We all wish there was spring football.

Take me out on that "we".

Any spring league would be football of very poor quality, so much so that if it was in your hometown, you would pay what they would need to charge and TV wouldn't pay enough to the venture to come close to break even.

And for those who actually pay to see this live...you just paid $$$ to see an organized scrimmage with rules like a college all-star game as to prevent QB injury and you're going to the Greenbrier in WV to do it. Better gamble at their casino or get a buffet voucher to make it even out.

However, there are hundreds of guys returning Christmas gifts tonight so that they can pay the $350 "registration fee" for this proposed league because they think that while never even playing past HS, they seriously continue to believe they can make a NFL roster, as if they're Eric Swann while being over age 25.

How much money does Brian Woods have?

None.

That's why the $350 fee.

He tried to charge NFL teams are really exorbitantly high fee to axcess  FXFL game film and no team fell for the bait.

He never finished a season he started and didn't pay debts to players.

IF this actually occurs, here are more details.

A daily schedule already has been set. Two games will be played on the 10th day of the league schedule, two on Day 16 and two on Day 20.

Some of the league’s coaches already have been determined. Terry Shea will coach quarterbacks, Mike Westhoff will coach special teams and Bob Valesente will work with defensive backs.
