Aside from his success on the course, "Sports Marketing and Management" wouldn't be what it currently is without and Mark McCormack. Way before licensing his name for the beverage, he endorsed both Pennzoil and Quaker State motor oil, insurance, clothing line, Hertz (with OJ) and owned a chain of dry cleaners. Then there's is the course design and he co-founded Golf Channel. Plus, on Sunday night, "The Simpsons" episode made reference to him in regards to the drink named after him. Bad coincidence.
