Yeah, but then blow out the Pacers so who knows.

The Warriors really beat the :censored: out of the Rockets tonight. Guys, I don't think anyone's going to be able to beat them in a 7-game series.

Warriors were well rested.  They were not in a plane for like 25 days.  They flew home after playing in CLE on Christmas and played home games except for a bus trip to play SAC.

GSW will beat themselves from within.

Draymond and his attitude/demeanor is the team's rudder. As he goes...the team goes.

Durant and his lack of leadership will be a hindrance in an important time.

Aside  the George Karl interviews in the last two weeks over his book have been fascinating. He wound up hating Ray Allen? WTF? Unless there's a real backstory, who really does hate Ray Allen? Is it Dean Smith v. Jim Calhoun beef?

George is all about the UNC, and his coaching style does seem to align w/ Dean Smith, who successfully stifled the uber talented player.

Heat have a 10-point lead over the Warriors with less than 4 to go in the 4th. I've seen this movie before, but -- from what I've read on Twitter -- the Heat are doing the thing where they hack the Warriors and try to slow the game down to take Golden State out of their rhythm. The Warriors going 10-18 from the line doesn't help.

Dion Waters is trying to heat check the Heat out of a win though...

WAITERS ISLAND!

There's your blueprint for success Miami. Give it to Dion and GTFO the way.

EDIT:

Nothing-to-lose Dion Waiters daggering the Warriors in a nothing game in January is why I love the NBA regular season

Cavs are a disaster.

EDIT: Adding, it might be time for James to take a vacation. He's leading the league in minutes and that's just stupid.

I realize just how bad it would look if LeBron left a second time, but if I were in Dan Gilbert's shoes, I'd tell LeBron to kick rocks the next time he hits free agency.

Gilbert got what he wanted....his immortality by bringing Cleveland a championship.  But at some point, LeBron demanding you to spend your money year after year after year just isn't good business sense.  Being held hostage by a player just belittles the respect for the owner and the front office.  I'd rather be a doormat again that letting the workforce tell me what to do.

Yeah, dare to dream.

Seeing the Kings. The SACRAMENTO KINGS. Beat the Cavs, just warms my heart. I hope these pesky bastards make the playoffs this year.

If I remember correctly, the Cavs already owe, or would owe if certain moves were made, something like $35 million in luxury tax penalties.  If I were in the GM or owner's position, I would be insulted I'm already paying 8-figures in penalty fines and my star player is throwing bitch-fits.  At some point, it's on the coaching staff and the players to get their act together.  And it's the coach the star player hand-picked, too, after the star player jettisoned the white Jewish guy.

First, the GM needs to fill that open roster spot they have as result of the Korver trade which have up two players for Korver.

I don't disagree with you, and would actually love to see Dan Gilbert tell Lebron to take a long walk of a short boardwalk. But it's not gonna happen. This is the same dude who threw the Comic Sans fonted fit when his meal ticket left the first time. No way he has the fortitude to do something like that.

And honestly, it wouldn't really make that much sense. Lebron may be whinging up a storm right now, but it's just a bad stretch. The Cavs will right the ship soon enough and march stoically to a rematch with Golden State, who actually has some similar frustrating gaps in their lineup that have caused people to panic this year, with relatively little trouble.

I'd be thrilled if, like, Boston took them down before the Finals, but I'd also be thrilled if I had a billion dollars.

LeBron has made six straight Finals and still has the clearest path to a seventh. If you want a chance at an NBA franchise, you have to deal with (and possess) an all-time great player. It's just how the NBA works.

You can acquiesce to your star player, or you can be Jerry Reinsdorf post-Jordan. Organizations win championships, yes, but only if they have great players. James is one of the top five all-time. No matter how difficult he might be, you always make it work.

Yeah, if Lebron leaves Cleveland again, it's going to be of his own accord (Or, in his own Accord. He probably drives a Land Rover, though).
