In my opinion, I've always considered it a Falcon that vaguely looks like an abstract F. Nothing more, nothing less.

Looks like they at least thought about it, whether or not it was their intention. I didn't even know they HAD this alt logo

I've seen that before, but that's cool AF......

It was used a lot on merchandise back in the day:

Confusingly, Nike also had their own version:

Nike combined a lot of logos with a letter(s) from the wordmark on that particular style of hat.  The Patriots' NE logo was a Nike design.

Coaches will sometimes wear super contrasting hats to be more discernible on the sideline for players on the field to pick them out and receive hand signals, etc.

This is the best pic I could find of the most extreme example I remember seeing some years back.

yep, if you ever watch Clemson, their DC wears a lime green/yellow hat with a darn Swoosh on it.

I am sore, wounded, but not slain

I will lay down and bleed a while

And then rise up to fight again

The Bengals.

It's time.

Helmet included.

If they were to change the helmet it would be the worst mistake any team has ever made & that is saying something with the Jaguars helmet decision and some other recent changes! All I can say is Cincinnati please don't ever change your helmet.

I thought the Bengals looked amazing last night. My only slight tweak would be to eliminate the orange drop shadow on the numerals. Make is a simple orange outline and the rest of the set is great.

All black jerseys at home with white block numerals outlined in orange and tiger striped sleeve caps. Make a road version, too. Orange tiger striped pants, both home and road that match the sleeve caps and helmets. There you go, Bengals. The perfect set.

Fun fact: The Bengals have worn the same helmet with nary a tweak or adjustment since its debut in 1981. That's one of the longest stretches in the NFL. As long as football is played with helmets the Bengals will wear their tiger striped helmet. It's not going anywhere.

A spruced up version of their color rush uniform is all I ask for.

Was watching a Bud Grant special on FS1 and forgot that the Vikings had white facemasks in the early 80's. Wouldn't mind seeing those again. Really don't like the new uniforms much at all.

I agree the new uniforms are good but not great. White faskmasks look great for the vikings
