Jimmy's Adventures in Recolored Logos

Recommended Posts

Over the past couple of days, I've taken up recoloring random team logos in Paint.net to match colors the team used to use or colors from a past team that could be tied to them. I think I've come up with some pretty neat designs, so I figured I'd post a thread to dump them into.

To start with, here's the current Buffalo Sabres logo in the '96-'06 red and black:

Interesting. Curious to see what else you've got.

Here's the New Orleans Pelicans in their old Hornets colors. Personally, I think this looks much better than the Red-and-Blue Team(TM) they are now.Pelicans.png

I always thought the XFL'S Orlando Rage's logo resembled the Hulk. This is the result.Rage Hulk.png

I like this a lot actually. I'd make the teeth white though.

That's gorgeous. Although I do like their current scheme, it's definitely not utilized properly.

Up next is the triple-A Louisville Bats. Personally, I think their new logo is a huge improvement over what they were using, but the color scheme is... uninspired. Here's the same logo with the classic colors.

By NOLA, do you mean the Hornets or Pelicans? And which Hornets logo? If it's the modern one, I actually have something to hold you over in the meantime.

Speaking of triple-A teams with terrible color schemes, the Norfolk Tides.

I don't think their scheme is too bad, but I do like this a lot more.

Here's something a little different: a uniform modification. This is a rough draft of what I imagine the Spurs' '90s road set would've looked like had they actually incorporated the fiesta colors.

...alright, I'm really proud of this one. Sporting Kansas City crest in the old Wizards colors, with orange and purple added to finish the rainbow.
