It's lasted a few years longer than that, so more than a lifetime haha. Correctly me if I'm wrong, but I think each of the 3 Spurs logos have lasted 14 seasons. Something about that fact is very "Spurs".

Huh... there may be something to that.

It really bugs me that side panels on the shorts don't go over the waistband anymore. This could cause an ugly gap on some uniforms. I also noticed this on the Pacers.

Odd, that it wasn't on the Kings' new unis.

I believe Nike gave the teams two waistband options; a more conventional version, like the one on those Kings uniforms, and the ventilated waistband like the ones on Nike's latest basketball uniforms for college and international teams. The more conventional waistband can accommodate the side panel designs, while the ventilated version causes the side panel designs to stop just below it. The Kings, Thunder, and Pistons all went with the more conventional waistband:

While the Pacers and Blazers are the only teams to go with the ventilated waistband so far:IMG_6556.thumb.PNG.dae1f0848ad39b47abdae477b68afd49.PNG

Don't wanna go back to the guy who said leave the 90s jerseys in the 90s but the blazers and pacers jerseys are boring. Stripes on a pacers jersey? Ok. Having 4 different widths and have them repeated? Didn't know Nike had a contract with MS paint

The break in the striping saves the uniform from having an odd, uneven meeting of the vertical shorts and diagonal chest stripes. The chest stripes look wider than the shorts as well. Could have potentially had an unsettling look if the stripe went uninterrupted to the top.

Counting all ads, tweaks, overhauls and whatnot, it turns out that 15 of 30 NBA teams have made changes for the upcoming season. Crazy.

Also, I want to add on to the Spurs discussion from earlier in this thread by pointing out that for the 2001-02 season the Spurs had a different version of the Fiesta logo. It was only used for that season and then they switched when they moved into the AT&T Center the next year.

I still hate the hell out of the Magic wordmark/font of choice.  The Magic have always been sort of a gag franchise ever since Dwight Howard took a dump on their hearts, but they deserve better from a design perspective.  The 90s are what they should strive for, and the more Disney-fied they get, the better off they, and in turn the world, will be.

Yet here we are.

Of the new Nike NBA uniforms released so far, I'd rank them:

1. Blazers (I'm biased, but I honestly think their new set is the best to be released so far, even though it does have some flaws)

2. Kings

3. Pistons

4. Pacers

5. Thunder

We basically already know what the Raptors' Association and Icon uniforms will look like, but I didn't include them in my rankings since they haven't been released. I'd probably slot them in between the Kings and Pistons, though.

I'm curious if CCSL site will start using the new primaries as the main logos you see when you go to the NBA section, or if it will be the Global Logos (which seems to be what they are right now).

I like going to, say, the NFL page and seeing all the simplified logos, and would like to see the NBA section follow that direction

I wonder what they'll be doing with the Eurostyle font since they've gone away from it in their logo & wordmarks.

Based on those screenshots, they added "OKC" to the waistband of the shorts. I would assume that'll replace the tramp stamp they've had since the set debuted, and if that ends up being the case, then I'd call it an improvement (albeit a very small one).

Good call. I just noticed that it was missing from your other post.

Oh boy, apparently the Jazz might be wearing something similar to this next year, except with the colors flipped and probably more of a golden yellow:IMG_6562.JPG.2ad08e08fe0677360c50f2eb32bc537e.JPG

Oh but imagine this versus an "aurora green " Minnesota jersey....
