Jesus mother :censored:ing christ. It's actually closer to a football template than a basketball one. And here's how it looks on a player
DG_ThenNowForever 15,259 Posted August 2, 2017 What the hell is wrong with Nike? And for the NBA for pretending that's okay?

JTrainGBR83 187 Posted August 2, 2017 Probably in the minority here too, but take away the butt stripe (and the side stripe) and the Suns purple away unis would be in my favorite 5 or 6 in the league.

It'll be hard to say one is a "road" uniform and one is a "home" uniform if there is no regularity to which one they wear where.
Shadojoker 1,701 Posted August 2, 2017 Who else is slated to reveal this week? Utah, Phoenix, Minnesota? Denver (will reveal theirs next century) Any idea of the release of the Nike catalog? Or the Nike Press Event which will feature all 5 of each teams uniforms?

I like the road jerseys minus the butt stripe. The collar needs fixing IMHO too. But the set is ruined be the hideous home orange/black. Zero sense to mismatch like that.

HighCheese 224 Posted August 2, 2017 Wonder if the knicks piping will be half done like their adidas ones especially with the new backs, it would look especially terrible

Like I wrote earlier, I think it's an interesting design that should provide freedom of motion with a tight armhole. In previous iterations of the modern slim cut, players who wanted more room had simply sized up. Perhaps now they won't need to.
mattb6 690 Posted August 2, 2017 To me the back armhole doesn't seem like too big of a deal. It'd obviously be better if it were full, but it's not the end of the world.
BBTV 19,354 Posted August 2, 2017 could they simply sublimate the pattern onto that piece that isn't the normal striping material? In other news, word on the street (just rumor, nothing from the team other than paying attention to their marketing), is that the Sixers will go with blue at home this year, save for a few big games. It's unknown what their 4th jersey will be. Someone posted a black Iverson jersey earlier in the thread, but I think that was just a 'shop. Actually, it's unknown what their third jersey will be, since they've all but eliminated red from their marketing.
Satomiblood 872 Posted August 2, 2017 I'm not a big fan of how the side panel awkwardly goes over the shoulder trim on Philly's jerseys. It looks like someone forgot to lower the side panel by a few clicks in NBA 2K17's uniform generator.
lmh1194 6 Posted August 2, 2017 As with everything else that is speculation at this point, I don't know how legitimate this is or how accurate it is, but this could give us a good idea of the Wolves "Icon" and "Association" jerseys. This is the first time I have seen the actual font and numerical fonts on the uniform match what has been floating around with the Wolves marketing department for their "NEW Era, New Look" campaign.

Someone on r/timberwolves saw the white and navy unis on 2K18 and gave a basic description, so here's my updated estimation / prediction... pic.twitter.com/5GHIq4u09W
— Conrad Burry ??? Conrad. 2,887 Posted August 2, 2017 ^ @lmh1194, that's covered in the Timberwolves thread, so add your comments there instead of this thread, please.
lmh1194 6 Posted August 2, 2017 I must have missed that in the Timberwolves thread so I will look over there, Thanks Conrad!
suns1977 261 Posted August 2, 2017 Minus the hideous back cut, the Bulls look is clean. I'm fantasizing their 3rd or 4th jersey will have the old cursive Chicago script like the mid-80's look.
