The last home kit of theirs with that combo was in 2012/13 and before that the only other time was in 1979/80.

PrimalCookie
Umbro has been uncharacteristically pretty bad with their kits this year, IMO. Not a fan of all the templates, and the diamond pattern on the sleeves is just a little too much (glad its sublimated though - the way Umbra's treating it is how Adidas should do the 3 stripes, IMO)
OlavoP
Flamengo debuted the new away kit yesterday, weirdly at home. So here is how it looked with all the sponsors: I actually think it looks more balanced with the sponsors, still hate the vertical stripe but it don't look so bland now. aawagner011
US kit update- well, it's not much at all but finally some kind of additional intel. Footy Headlines acknowledges that it will be navy blue and suggests that it might have red hoops, which has been the rumor. Also, @upperV03 gets a shoutout with his mockup. Footy Headlines says the expected launch date is July 1, so about two weeks out. This seems like the most elusive and secretive kit in a long time. I can't recall another shirt without any details leaking whatsoever. http://www.footyheadlines.com/2017/06/nike-usa-2017-gold-cup-kit.html?m=

I'm curious about the sources they have and if any of the information they've received is any more concrete than what's already been floating around for some time now. My mockup was just based on the rumors that the kit could include hoops, but I haven't seen any hard evidence to confirm those rumors, or at least to confirm that the kit will feature large doses of red. Also, the leak of the Gold Cup prematch shirt essentially confirms that the kit won't feature gold accents, so it seems odd for them to include that version of my mockup instead of the one with white accents and the hoops only on the front. I feel like that could be misleading to some people. But anyways, it's at least good to hear that it should be releasing on or around July 1st. I'm definitely ready to see it, I just hope it meets the lofty expectations that've been set by Rob Stone and Alexi Lalas, as well as the rumors that have been been floating around. That's Footy Headlines for you, either mockups which are inaccurate most of the time (remember how their Barcelona home shirt this season didn't have the Catalan neckline,or the Bayern one had the adidas stripes on the sides etc.) or info that doesn't matter. The font they used on all of the kits is indeed what Adidas will use for their World Cup kits, so that part is definitely accurate. They took more liberty on some of the kits than others, and they based the template and collar styles on the leaked images of the Mexico kits, so there could very possibly be some more iterations of the template than what they used. As far as the designs go, all of the leaked information so far has indicated that Adidas' 2018 World Cup range will largely take inspiration from retro kits and design ideas (specifically from the '90's), so these mockups should at least be on the right track for a lot of the kits. I'm surprised to see Mexico has the best look going into the World Cup. And too many teams have the same away setup as Argentina. Germany would look better if those chest patterns matched the flag. Russia easily has the worst look from adidas, and they're the hosts!

I'm in the minority of Wolves faithful, but I quite like the new shirt. That Hearts kit is a thing of beauty. I'm a sucker for a kit with a contrasting collar. njdevs7
"The Money Shop" is a terrible looking sponsor for Wolves. And the blue on the Tigres kit does seem lighter, especially on the Adidas stripes.
