I almost wish Tottenham wasn't considered a "premier" Nike team and actually got a special design. All in all though, I think these kits are a nice, simple start to the Nike-Spurs relationship.

Chelsea home, away, and keeper kit officially released:

Seems a bit odd that the home shorts have white side inserts rather than blue to match the shirt, but overall I'm a fan of both kits. They're simple and clean, and some will probably say boring, but I'm glad Nike took that approach for their first season with the Blues. I'd like to see them ramp up the creativity a bit more in year two, but I think this is definitely a good, or at least an inoffensive start.

Actually the white inserts on the shorts are meant to match the kits of the 1960s and 1970s... which were plain blue but had white inserts on the sides of the shorts.

But why? The X makes no sense for Wolfsburg at all. It just looks bad. Maybe it's because the next letter after VW is X.

Sporting Lisbon home, away, third, and keeper kits:

 The away kit was designed by a fan and features a chant in Morse code in the form of the thin horizontal stripes, and it also features a message in Braille under the club crest. The third kit on the other hand is a special half-and-half design dedicated to Francisco Stromp, player and manager of the club during the 1920's. The kit is styled after those that were worn during that time period.

What's the deal with the new USMNT shirt? I thought it was supposed to go on sale today, but I haven't seen it anywhere.

I'm pretty sure BVB never use that third in game or use it once/twice max (except as a goalie shirt).

Hearing rumors it might launch on ussoccerstore.com at 3PM before the match and then they will have a brief window of online exclusivity and then on sale everywhere 7/3. We'll know soon enough how true that is!

^Yeah, that's what I've been hearing too. One thing we now know for sure is that the team will not be wearing the new kits in today's match, which shouldn't really come as a surprise since they're meant to be exclusively for the Gold Cup games.

If they were smart, they would have launched it about two weeks ago because people would eat this up for Independence Day.
