It actually looks darker than both the cyan and the Sounder blue

I'm pretty sure it's pacific blue:

In their release video, it appeared either black or a darker blue, but the images seem to show that it's pacific blue. But still, it should be black to match the names and numbers. As it is now, it clashes. Like I said, the pacific blue just doesn't go with the rest of the kit and four different accent colors is just too much for such a simple kit.

In other news, the new Toronto home shirt leaked, and it's different than what was initially suspected:

It's not great, especially because it looks like there are dark gray side panels, but it's certainly much better than a plain all red shirt.

Why is the new shirt so much longer than the other two? Real or just the photo?

Adidas does have a lot of variation in the sizes, but that looks to me like it's just the photo.  Look at how much lower the shoulders are on that mannequin.

Yes, just worries me as the other two sit nicely over the shorts but the white, sitting so far down, looks a bit sloppy.

Meh, they're ok. I would've liked to see a front number to really give a shoutout to the old kit, but these work pretty well. I mean, it's a white soccer jersey with a collar. A bit underwhelming, but not bad by any stretch. I do like the inclusion of the old logo on the back, though. That's a nice touch.

I really don't think you have anything to worry about. I mean, you're judging it by how it looks in a mockup.

It's a pretty nice kit overall, but I feel like they botched the execution a little bit, and I'm not saying that just because I'm a Timbers fan. Using the current shade of blue on the crest, MLS logos, and XBOX logos clashes pretty badly with all of the cyan accents. On top of that, the name and number color not matching the color of the Adidas logo OR the sponsor logo bugs the hell out of me. Plus, they really should've gone with cyan shorts.

It would also look much better without that gold star above the crest. ;)

I think it's pretty nice and sort of different for a change (not entirely red like last season). Not really excited about those subtle hoops and the texture, but those onyx sleeves look cool.

It would be interesting to see if the shorts are onyx too, but I doubt they'll do that.

I'm really confused about which color shade is which with all the marketing names for them, but basically I agree that it's absurd the number/sponsor mismatches and the crest/trim mismatches are as bad as they appear here. I think it could have used a monochrome crest and/or some green to balance it out. Not to toot my own horn here, but essentially I think they should have done my exact concept from a month or so ago, honestly.

On the note about MLS printing -- hard to believe that whoever is in charge of creating the iron-ons for names and numbers couldn't whip up something that matches the new Seattle away, if they wanted it. Given that we've had reflective silver for Kansas City's third, bright orange for NYCFC's away and even kelly green for Portland's old white third, I thought the days of limited color choices were behind us?
