The Sydney crest is decent, but the attempt at a half-and-half look fails for me.  Plus, Glenn's right about the font.

Need I show more? Brighton got out pretty good IMO, at least compared to some of the other monstrosities Nike has cranked out since debuting the Vapor Aeroswift last year.

Okay that PSG one is probably on par, but I think the brighton kit is much worse than the national kits, because it introduces an ugly 3rd colour which just looks really washed out compared to the rich royal colour.

It looks like it's been cheaply made and the colour has faded from the sleeves after a wash.

Yeah, I understand that, I just I don't think it'll be all that noticeable on the field, just as the darker blue sleeves on Barça's current home kit are pretty subtle in action. Having said that, the new Brighton home kit is on the replica version of the Vapor Aeroswift template so the different colored sleeves will have a more noticeable effect than if the kits were on the authentic version with the knit sleeves. So I guess we'll just have to wait and see how noticeable it actually ends up being. But regardless, I still think the new home kit is pretty sharp overall, at least considering the limitations of Nike's template. The yellow accents are really sharp, and it's nice to see that color make a return after not being used on the last couple of home kits.

Can't say I'm a huge fan, if nothing else because it feels a bit uninspired and too similar to the last two. Plus the gold trim is getting old at this point, and they'd be much better suited going back to having white accents instead. That chevron stripe on the shoulders is also dreadful and it's really unfortunate that Puma has decided to implement gradients on so many kits for next season (Dortmund, Leicester, Bordeaux homes, Arsenal away, etc.).

You can add my local team Tranmere Rovers to that list too, so with them being a 5th tier side you can assume that this template will be used all over the place and not just for the top teams. I own the new shirt and I'm not a huge fan of the chevron gradient thing but blue on white seems to be a better combination than some of the others I have seen. To be honest, I am glad that Puma have gone away from the template/cut of the past few season of having a stripe along the top of the sleeves. I got kind of bored of that.

Here's a leak of one of Nike's promo shots for the Barça home kit. Credit to twitter user @bryan_agent for uncovering it. You can clearly see the updated Rakuten logo on the chest.IMG_4257.thumb.JPG.2a67c4262a8e6e2d13d852b3231f52ff.JPG

And then here's yet another look at the PSG shirt:

Really nice. The new shades of red and orange look better than the FH mockup seemed to indicate, and I really like the black trim on the sides. It should look good with the black socks, but it's unfortunate they'll be pairing it with red shorts instead of white. And speaking of the shorts, here they are:

The shade of red and yellow are much better than the FH mockup, which was way too light. The black stripe should have been yellow, there's really no need for black and for gigs reason there hasn't been any in Roma since the mid-2000's. The black socks are only good if they pair them with white shorts, otherwise terrible.

This reminds me of what a shirt looks like when you turn it inside out and can see the stitching.
