FH's mockup of Nike's first Chelsea home shirt:

IMG_4675.JPG.fc50af3e4ce6aa11d4ebc720acc66b86.JPG

Matches up with what I've heard, with white only appearing on the logos and names/numbers on the back. The shorts will be almost entirely blue like the shirt, while the first choice socks will obviously be white.

I see it...but all I'm really taking in is $90+ for a low-level teamwear shirt.

Edit - Is there any reason that Chelsea doesn't put a star above their crest to show that they won the Champions League?

Looks like this might be the new streamlined La Liga kit font for next season:

Not terrible, but I'm still dissapointed they're moving away from letting the teams wear their own unique kit fonts during league matches. At least it seems like there won't be a limited number of colors since they'll be customized with the crests of each club.

I'm not opposed to league-wide kit fonts, especially if the league-wide font is good (see: 2017-18 Premier League).  But this doesn't look that good, especially on that Valenica kit.  Who knows, hopefully it'll look better on the Barca kit.

Here's how it looks on the Barça kit:

Speaking of kit fonts, Man City's cup font for next season has been decided on. These were the two options the Cityzens could vote for:

The second option rightfully received the most votes, and here's how it looks on the new shirt:

Could have at least put a white stripe on the shoulders like the third had with the powder blue. This looks like a t-shirt. I assume the away is just a white version of this? Or is it going to have a blue stripe?

The away kit will actually be light gray, and it'll have blue accents. I'd guess the collar trim and side stripes will be blue, but I'm not sure on that.

Who does that, other than Nottingham?

I've seen it done by Celtic, for one. Just curious.

I think English teams doesn't wear stars for Championships at all. And if, they integrate them into their official crest.

There are still no leaks about the German Nike teams yet. I mean there are five teams, that will get the new Aersoswift template. Hertha, Bremen, Leipzig, Wolfsburg and Frankfurt.

Was in action for the first time (along with the new kit) in the women's team game vs Sunderland the other day:

Exactly. Using stars to identify past championships really isn't a thing in England at all. It took a years-long campaign last decade to get England to begin wearing a star for the 1966 World Cup, and even then, they've occasionally used only a barely-noticeable sublimated star.

Aston Villa did incorporate a star into their crest in 2007, while Chelsea, Manchester United, and Liverpool don't wear stars at all. Frankly, if one of them ever decided to begin wearing stars, they'd be ridiculed by other Premier League fans in an instant. It's just not part of the culture or tradition of football in England.

Huddersfield has three stars above their horrific logo for the top division titles they won in the 1920s

I can tell you these about the German Nike teams:

- Bremen's away shirt uses a combination of black and orange; I don't know which one is the main one

- Frankfurt are switching to their traditional colours

- Hertha's are pretty standard fare, might have gold trim somewhere*

- Wolfsburg will switch the colours around*

- Leipzig's aren't much different from this season's

* not 100% confirmed

Hoping something is sublimated. Otherwise it's too simple for me.
