MiLB | Pioneer League Logo Rebrand

Go Red Sox!

Recommended Posts

Another MiLB league logo rebrand – this time it's the Pioneer League's mark. The league operates in the Rocky Mountain region. The original logo is from 1990 and it's quite chaotic, messy and outdated.

Personally, where the mountains/trees meet, I would make a blue outline so they don't actually touch, for cleanliness' sake. Other than that; bravo. A well done updatearrow-10x10.png*

Good eye, ECUFan25. I already made an outline but forgot to activate the layer before exporting my PNG. Updated! Thanks a lot!

* Yeah, that logo is a mess, isn't it?

Well this is a fantastic follow up to the Florida League logo. (Good Lord...don't think I'd ever seen that original Pioneer League "logo" before...)

I think this logo, shape in particular, captures that Rocky Mountain feel very well. (Though I kept wondering if it was fully centered, is that just the text playing games?) The super simple half ball struck me as a basketball at first, but could be just me. These leagues really like to be noticed in the "been a league since ---" department so I'm missing that 1939 on there, but it looks clean as-is so I'm going to assume it just didn't look right.

Basically this is a great revamp. Enjoying this "series"!

Thanks, Steelman. I left the year out because it actually didn't look so clean and good.
