As far as the background, I'd have made them clear if the pattern is the focus of the uniforms. That said, Penn State needs to wear blue jerseys or this could get a little hard to see on daytime TV. No more of this: Some of these unis are nice tho. I admit some of these are flops but each of the sets with the green buckeye leaves on the helmets were excellent. Plus each of those games were great games and great wins for the Buckeyes. as for this years alternate, I’m happy that the uniform for this year is all grey (Sadly the game is not a night game for some reason ?). They could’ve added more scarlet into parts of the uniforms, but I like it. It’ll serve its purpose as a good one off uniform. Why do you people think that everything is about money. My uncle who works at ASU says that the Pat Tillman jerseys are the least profitable because of how much of the profit goes to charity. I'm not a fan of this current set, like, at all, but ASU usually handles the Tillman tributes in a relatively subtle and tasteful manner. A lot of the more recent, somewhat head scratching "tributes" have seemed to come more from the hands of Adidas than the institution itself. It's definitely better than the way that school down south has been squeezing every dime out of the bones of John Salmon for damn near a century now.
