I'm also surprised we heard no comments about the team (Vegas) seemingly moving away from the initial color scheme it promoted. The main color was truly dark tealish originally. These were from the team, not a fan site:

Guess they decided it would render funny or was difficult to reproduce, so they went with a true grey...?

Lighting and materials explain everything.  Technically they are still using the greenish gray.

But the Keepers of the Cup get to touch the Stanley Cup, Vegas won't touch it with those gloves.

Do las vegas casinos handle cards or anything with white gloves?

Are you sure, @WSU151 ? It doesn't look like it, and they've taken the logo sheet I posted down from their website... just saying.

You can see for yourself, here: https://www.nhl.com/goldenknights/team/logos

Yeah, at least on my computer, it still looks like the same color that's on the flag/banner.  I could be wrong though.

Yeah ditching the black and white was a great move. If only they'd make the final leap and change the black pants helmets and gloves. Oh well.

I have a soft spot for identities like the Avalanche, Canucks and Coyotes that pay homage to the local geography with their colour schemes.

Any chance they ditch the black numbers on the road uni? That has always bothered me.

Curious, anyone recall what the first  RBK edge jersey to be replaced was? Do we have a minimum amount of time before a team could alter or replace one of these jerseys? I'm sure we'll see the return of 3rd jerseys next year, I don't mean that.

I'm quite surprised that some teams made no changes at all, I'm cynical enough that I though everyone would make a minor tweak to striping or shoulder logos  or collars in order to try to sell more jerseys. I wouldn't have expected any changes for say, Chicago, Detroit or Montreal, but they might have say, changed their collars from lace up to non lace up or vice versa.

Canucks could have swapped shoulder patches with the 3rd jersey, or gone lace up collar for the first time.

A handful of teams replaced their full-time looks in 2010-11. Buffalo promoted their third and came out with a whole new set including another third. The Flyers and Islanders went full throwback, and the Leafs restored the hemstripes. Before that in 2009-10, teams like the Oilers and Flyers were swapping their homes with their alts before phasing the old Edge set out entirely.

If my memory is correct, I think it would be when the Islanders and Flyers made the full switch from their 2007 edge jerseys to their retro alts and introduced matching white uniforms. That would have been the 2010-11 season. But I seem to remember that some teams promoted an alt to primary status prior to releasing a matching white jersey (Oilers come to mind).

EDIT: Wildwing beat me to it and gave a better answer

is the duck tail gone on the new Rangers jerseys? I'm looking at the ones I currently have and the back is longer than the front.

Yes.

The Reebok curve is gone for all teams.
