Kevin W. 1,987 Posted September 7, 2017 Could be worse, considering it's just a practice jersey.
henburg 1,651 Posted September 7, 2017 The new font for the Blue Jackets is enough to make that set a great upgrade IMO, everything else is just a bonus.

Tyler Crowder 67 Posted September 7, 2017 A new uniform system and Pittsburgh still can't match their helmet number to their player numbers on the back.
the admiral 29,061 Posted September 7, 2017 The helmet numbers are how the back numbers should look.
habsfan1 3,980 Posted September 7, 2017 That's one thing that's a downgrade from their mid-to-late 2000s & early 2010's look. The yellow numbers make them look like the Bruins a little more again. And the Bruins haven't helped this cause by throwing away a century of tradition by changing to black socks.

Pretty sure they made it their mission for all socks to match jerseys stripes exactly. Except for the Blues. Their blue socks still inexplicably have navy in between the yellow and white stripes, even though it's royal blue in between the stripes on the jersey. Also, the lower portion of the home and away socks should be navy to match their jerseys, but it's not.

I'm praying it will be changed back sooner rather than later.
Bayne 1,123 Posted September 7, 2017 Nashvilles home looks beyond terrible, still.
habsfan1 3,980 Posted September 8, 2017 The Bruins & Blues Adidas rebrands get very low grades, due to the loss of significant aspects of their traditional looks. Both are significant downgrades.

At any rate...the Pens are going to look pretty sweet lifting the Cup for a third time in a row. ; )
Gobbi 1,131 Posted September 8, 2017 Anyone else notice the logo here? Looks like they added silver to the oil drop.

Edit: To clarify, I wasn't insinuating that the Oilers added silver to their official logo. I just wanted to point out the addition on the background they used as I found it peculiar that they'd add an embellishment such as that. It looks like the Oilers logo is extruded in 3d; That sliver of silver you're seeing is a bit of shading from the inset area of the oil drop before it reaches the orange drop itself. You can also see a bit of the effect on the bottom right of the letter s in the oilers portion.
Delicate Genius 577 Posted September 8, 2017 I was originally disappointed the Oilers didn't just recolour last year's orange uniforms but the new one has really grown on me. It looks fantastic in that McDavid picture.
