Mostly because (and I'm assuming) the Oilers are going to wear orange socks, and not navy like Islanders did. Not sure if they meant the inaugural jerseys, or the current ones. I'm open to a lot of possibilities so long as it's not a full adoption of the alternate uniforms with matching road, but we've already heard that's not happening. Sticking with blue red and white with the flag logo is the way to go.
