Cleveland Monsters have the greatest tribute to the Cleveland Indians

I didn't know where else to put something like this, but the Cleveland Monsters (AHL) had THE BEST tribute to the Cleveland Indians I've ever seen. They really went ALL OUT for their specialty night. Take a look at those socks! Arena graphics used Tribe graphics, the ceremonial pucks, and it even went to a shootout...won in the bottom of the 9th round. Can't beat that.

Playing the Chicago Wolves - definitely a shame they couldn't blow a 3-1 lead, tie the game at the end of regulation, and get blown out in a shootout all while LeBron watched and pretended to care about another sport/team because he needs to pretend he gives a :censored: about Cleveland.

Three responses that have virtually the same message, yet no opinions regarding the actual tribute/uniforms? I wish I could say that I'm surprised.

 

Good contribution, @hockey week. I was coming here to post this as well. Very well done. The only "flaw" i see is the sock design not actually wrapping around the leg. But I'll let that slide because they actually went with faux-stirrups rather than plain socks... And a baseball puck?!

 

Awesome stuff. I like the fact that they used a "Monsters" script stylized like the "Indians" script, when they very easily could've gone with the Indians' "Cleveland" script.

Sorry for having some fun. Yea its cool that they did this. Kudos to the graphics team.
