Tony Nathan.

Walter Sobchak slows the OnWis97 comeback and retakes the lead with Tony Nathan.

I. Dolphins (5).

II. Nathan scored the TD in the famous "hook and lateral" play against the Chargers in the "Epic in Miami" in the 1982 playoffs.

III. The hook and lateral is often incorrectly referred to as the "hook and ladder."

IV. Tony Nathan's Hot Dogs.

Round XXVI

I. The teams I played for have a combined total of 11 Super Bowl appearances.

II. My guess is when I made this play, fans of this team said "You've got to be kidding. Again?"

III. And I managed to play a couple more seasons after my gut punch play.

IV. infrared41 and I are arch rivals.

Jeremiah Castille? Hoping for a math mistake here.

Edit: Fun fact - Jeremiah Castille and Tony Nathan were teammates at Alabama, and one of Jeremiah's sons played Nathan in a movie.

Nope. What's the math mistake you're referring to?

He seemed to fit the clues very well to me, but he only played for the Broncos (8 Super Bowls) and the Bucs (1). I figured I'd take a shot, just in case.

Round XXVII

I. The teams I played for have a combined total of 10 Super Bowl appearances.

II. I played for the original versions of these two current NFL teams.

III. I was named MVP of the league in my first season with the team I played the bulk of my career with.

IV. During my playing career, I also held a full time job as a TV reporter.

Len Dawson

ninersdd closes out this year's edition of "Who am I?" with Len Dawson.

I. Steelers (8), Browns (0), Chiefs (2).

II. Dawson played for the AFL's Dallas Texans and the "original" Cleveland Browns.

III. He was named MVP in his first year in the AFL.

IV. While playing for the Chiefs, Dawson also had a full time job as a sports reporter for a Kansas City TV station. Imagine that happening today.

Mario Manningham

jc... wraps things up with Mario Manningham.

I. Giants (5), 49ers (6).

II. Like David Tyree in Super Bowl XLII, Manningham's circus catch late in Super Bowl XLVI put the Giants in position to beat the Patriots...again.

III. Unlike Tyree, Manningham played a couple more seasons after his Super Bowl catch.

IV. He played college football at Michigan. I'm an Ohio State alum.

V. Tyree is famous for the "helmet catch."
