HedleyLamarr
These Astros are real. Sheesh. I'm supposed to take the field if I had to put money on "Astros vs. the field", but I wouldn't feel very confident in the field.
Sport
They're looking like a 105 win team. I'm glad their rebuild worked. I'd still feel good about taking the field just with the randomness of the baseball playoffs.
Dynasty
I think the NL is already wrapped up in terms of who's making the playoffs (unless the Cubs decide to be good again).
(probably)notabandwagonfan
Nationals delayed a game last night for three hours and the tarp wasn't even on the field for two plus hours of that delay.
The Six
Looks like Johnny Cueto may only have one more start before he's finally traded. Crazy, considering he was such a star for the Giants last year, and this year he's basically irrelevant. Too bad Matt Moore has no value and can't go with him. Terrible pitcher. FiddySicks
It's amazing how many creative ways the Giants have found to lose this season. I've never seen a team in any sport that's this consistently frustrating. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) Just sell at the deadline, and try to inject a modicum of life into the farm system. ninersdd
Cubs getting demolished and will be 2 games below 500 entering the break. Still though I think they win their division. BEAR DOWN ARIZONA!2013/14 Tanks Picks Champion
EvilChameleon
Since the 90's, if the Indians have the lead in the division at the half, they've won the division, so I like our chances of having another good second half. CubsFanBudMan
Manfred mentions Montreal, Charlotte and Mexico City (!) as potential expansion sites once Oakland and Tampa Bay settle their stadium issues. http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/mlb-expansion-wont-happen-right-away-but-rob-manfred-has-three-cities-in-mind/
JayMac
The only problem is that the Athletics and the Rays will never settle their stadium issues. I really see both franchises having to relocate. Expansion is a long way away.

While there are still obstacles to clear, it seems that the "struggling" stage is over, and that the team has ruled out relocation as an option. rxmc89
Yeah, the A's have already moved twice in their history, I hope they stay in Oakland forever. Don't want them to be the Raiders or Sacramento Kings of MLB.

Silent Wind of Doom
Wow... You have the best pitcher in the sport right now starting for the team. Then the network takes up time in between innings doing interviews and he only gets one inning of work before going cold. Incredible. Unless this is Maddon trying to strategize. It's crazy, though, that Scherzer didn't get at least once around the order.
