Those Mavs throwbacks annoy the piss out of me with that inaccurate wordmark & number font. If you're not gonna bother doing a throwback right, don't do it at all. This is how it should have looked:
ColeJ
as a straight throwback, i agree... but as a stand-alone jersey, i prefer what i posted, which is why i posted it
cubsfan2015
This will forever be my favorite alternate jersey of all time. I hated the Sixers look during the Iverson era,but I always loved this because of the soothing classic blue contrasting with the modern logo. BBTV
^ That was a great uniform - one of my favorite Sixers uniforms (along with the current). I loved the shiny almost metallic blue fabric. It could have used shoulder trim though. I'm one of the fiew that liked the wide shoulder cut. Miss these fantastic unis. Either font is nice, like the Gus Williams look the best (with long shorts please). C'mon NBA, the stadium deal is in place... It almost looks like a throwback to the 91-92 Mavericks jersey when they switched to the block font in green. "I always wanted to be somebody, but now I realize I should have been more specific." It's not though, the port authority blocks every attempt because they say it will make it harder to get employees to work and some other bs. Most of my favorites have already been mentioned, but here's another one that I've always loved: I feel like the Nuggets could've done more with the red and the copper/bronze/gold. They had a relatively unusual color scheme and just had an unchanging home and road with no alternate for that whole time. ...also, I think the '80s Mavs set, with green jerseys and Western font, looked at least more interesting than the rather generic '90s set. Not more clean, to be sure - they looked a little messy, but they had their own unique look. Something between the '80s look and the '91-'92 look (green with block font) would probably have been the best way forward. Everyone wears blue - own the green! Jack Holmes
I have a huge soft spot for the late 90s Sonics. Maybe it's due to my obsession with the show Frasier.

Guest
I knew the Wilson wordmark back when they were the official NBA ball supplier was on the ball, but does the "Wilson" look bigger on the ball dribbled by this Nets player?

MCM0313
Here are some of my favorites: More 'Zo: Pacers, Bucks, Kings all have looks here that I love, although Indiana could do without that awkward number on the shorts: Here's the Bucks' "Irish Rainbow" on its own, although the main green looks a little "muddy" in some of these: I liked the more-detailed skyline logo that came later a bit better, but these uniforms work better for me: I think they should wear primarily red on the road, but whatevs: Bad Boys: This whole set (incidentally, I think I have that card): The white ones weren't bad either: I always liked the navy blue alts from LeBron's first stint in Cleveland: I guess this was a Christmas Day thing?: And, of course, the classics: Kill the one on the far right with fire, and you have an excellent set: ...there are more, but there are a few teams that I'm legitimately unsure what their best look was. Here are two courts I loved though: (both video game re-creations)
