NCAA Division I FBS Concept Uniforms (Done in Paint)

OREGON

 

Oregon has A LOT of uniform combos. Maybe a million?  Anyway, the pattern was taken from their Mach Speed uniforms, and this pattern was placed on the sleeves and on the pant cuffs. I also decided to use their Mach Speed era number font as well. No more additional colors, just green, yellow, white, and black only.

OREGON STATE

 

For Oregon State, I decided to put the jersey striping from the sleeves to the shoulders, and made it tapered. I don't know where did this idea come from. Also, I'd put the beaver head logo on all three helmet options for consistency's sake.

STANFORD

 

For the Cardinal, I just retained what they have, and added back the pant striping and red alternate pants. I also thickened the striping, because this seems to be the trend on one striped decorations.

WASHINGTON

 

This concept set was inspired by their 2000-2003 uniforms. The difference is with the striping used on the jerseys and the white and gold pants. I added an outline on the striping to accommodate the black uniforms.

WASHINGTON STATE

 

This Wazzu concept set is a modified version of mbannon92's concept. The striping that I applied here is tapered, and the numbers now have outlines. On the collar is the cougar logo on a shield, which resonates well with the collar shape. I initially made an anthracite set, but it really appeared horrible to me (especially the crimson numbers with silver outlines on an anthracite background), even though this is a part of the trend in college football uniforms nowadays.

ARIZONA

 

I like the sunrise/sunset motif of the Wildcats' current get-up, but I got some problems with the choice of colors for the numbers on dark background. And so, I merged their current uniforms and their Tennessee Titans numbers. You may not notice this, but at the end of the pant striping, there is a sublimated "BEARDOWN" wordmark on it.

ARIZONA STATE

 

Arizona State has one of the best identities in NCAA (sorry, Sparky fans). Their Adidas football unis are somehow identical with their Nike unis. Basically, what I did here is transfer the Nike design into an Adidas template, and I really like the result. The best thing here is: NO COPPER!

COLORADO

 

Northwestern-striped uniforms is perhaps the iconic look for Colorado Buffaloes football. And so, I decided to bring it back for another run, but this time, it's on a Mach Speed template. Gold jerseys and black, white, and silver pants also join the club.

I want to, but I really don't know what to say. It's like you've gotten to the point where you've won and doing anything more or less on these uniforms would just disrupt their beauty. Keep up the good work, I can't wait for the SEC!

Every concept has been amazing, especially for it being done in paint. The Pac12 has been great. My only gripe would be on Colorado's gold uniforms. I wonder if the gray stripe would look better if it was white. Other than that great job.

UCLA

 

Since UCLA is also set to become an Under Armour outfitted team, it's surely a great opportunity for them to go back to Clarendon. The blue on the home uniform is slightly darker. White jerseys and gold pants is the main road combo once again, while the all-white is relegated to alternate road combo. Black uniforms are intended for a one-off use.

USC

 

My USC concept set was created before the actual redesign. So, it's expected that this is (sort of) an old school design. I don't know if these will be infamous, but I added two crazy alternates for a team full of tradition. First is an all-gold uniform, and last is an all-black uniform.

UTAH

 

For the final team in the Pac-12 lineup, I decided to tone down their mountain sleeve design, from being too obvious to being sublimated. I also reverted their NOB and number fonts to a similar font used during the first years of their UA era.
