I still think of them as a team that's "just" gotten good, even though we're almost at a decade of them being awesome. I'm a fan of good hockey, and the Blackhawks have played about as up-tempo and offensive hockey we can get today. I don't dislike their presence in the playoffs. But man, they look old in this series. Admiral joked about their defense being great if this were 2010 or whatever year these guys were around...but they look slow. With all the games Kane and Toews and Keith and Seabrook have played, their playing age is probably a bit older than their actual age. Hossa is up there. And if you look away from their core, seems to be a bunch of younger players with little-to-no playoff experience. Their window is closing up. All these Leafs have to worry about is eating enough calories to keep playing hard. If Chicago and/or Minnesota don't get up off the mat.... then the road to the Cup on that side goes through the Arrowhead Pond.
