Carolingian Steamroller
I really like the choices you've made for the Angels. The gold halo really makes the difference. Also the navy jersey is terrific.
Victormrey
To hype this a bit, this is the new wordmark I designed for the Astros: Credit to @FinsUp1214, whose amazing design inspired this!

Let's admit it, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim doesn't sound quite right... That's why I decided to go just for "Anaheim Angels". First of all, I wanted to bring back the look used from 1961 to 1996, giving more importance to the Navy colour. I decided to keep the current wordmarks and logos adding the "Anaheim" script for the road designs and the1970/85 California State logo as sleeve patch, and using, of course, the yellow halo. Also, I added a Navy road alt. Is the first letter A in each version larger than the rest of the letters and is that the case on current uniforms, as well? Yep, the first A is larger, as in the current wordmarks: http://www.sportslogos.net/logos/view/jc69i93rlxeidoomxfhsnaqdy/Los_Angeles_Angels_of_Anaheim/2012/Wordmark_Logo I like how it looks, that's why I kept it. I think the Astros have one of the best colour schemes on the Majors, but their current identity is a bit bland. That's why I decided to introduce a orange gradient (inspired by the Tequila Sunrise of course) to the current wordmarks and sleeve patch, replacing the current star with the H for the 2000/12 star. I decided to keep the gradient subtle on the home, road and home alt; this subtle gradient would be embossed, something like the pinstripes from this kit; while going for full colour on the road alt. Also, for the home alt, I decided to use a "Moonrise" gradient instead of the Sunrise for the home alt, in order to make it stand out more. coco1997
Man, that road alt is just incredible. The embossed striping on the home and road jerseys will have to grow on me, but it's certainly an original idea.
coco1997
Also, any reason you didn't make the sleeve patch navy on the home alt? I feel it would disappear on the sleeve being the same color as the rest of the jersey.
Carolingian Steamroller
THAT is terrific! Really cool use of a gradient as a subtle callback rather than a full out shock to the system. Also I love the straight horrizontal letters. A couple of questions: Is the sunrise pattern different on the wordmarks, piping, and cap logo or are they all the same? Why does the logo have a square end at the upper left corner?

The gradient is always the same. About the star, in order to match its shape on the scripts, I decided to make its left end squared.
Lights Out
That Astros concept is a big improvement over their current bland set. POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/

WillLanigan
What if you used one of the old lettering styles for the home jersey? And please, some form of the classic H-star, not the "murdered starfish"

About the star, I've already tried the current star design with the gradient: http://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/109179-houston-astros-tequila-sunrise-hangover/ and I wanted to try something different. Suggested by @Paul Lucas, here's a subtle version of the road alt:
Victormrey
Before starting with the A's, I'd like to settle which colours I'll be using for the Mariners. These are the options: 1. Dark Teal / Mint scheme, proposed by @SFGiants58 2. Seahwaks scheme 3. Cascadia Scheme 4. Seattle flag scheme, proposed by @Paul Lucas You can vote here! https://strawpoll.com/xawg4b4
coco1997
I'd definitely go with the first option, especially if you give the A's a lighter green. The first option would give the M's a unique color scheme amongst their division.
