Actual logo and kits My concept I merged the two logos in one featuring both the anchor and the salmon (if that is a salmon...) but staying with a close shield design. The home kit was inspired a bit by Cagliari double blue and red jerseys as the sash dividing the colors was not of my taste. The clash kit plays with the very same idea. MetsaWood, the main sponsor, is a local logging company working in Kemi area, which, as all of Lapland, is renown for the plenty of timber and logging industries. I would also like to see the colors divided diagonally across the front, probably without the white sash, but that's up to you. Actual logo and kits My concept I kept the actual logo as I really like it, it's clean and simple yet stylish. For the home kit I opted for orizontal asimetrical stripes. The clash kit isan homage to the northen lights but also to Santa's Village, whose silhouette is the one standing by the northen lights. The main sponsor is a local software house. For the kits I played with the tiger striping and for the clash I was in particular inspired by last season juventus zebra pattern jersey. I was trying to make the tiger fit into a shield but in the end it looked too squashed. The rectangle was the best choice to make the tiger own the space it deserves. It was Finland capital during the finnish civil war and there was signed the declaration of indipendence from Russia in 1918. Actual logo and kits My concept As Vaasa is so linked with kings I decided to make the team logo more royal by adding a crown over a redesigned vintage ball.
