Denver Nuggets NBA Redesign by DT Concepts

This is my first ever basketball concept, so be gentle. Anyways, here are some Denver Nuggets concepts by yours truly. I incorporated the striping from their alternates' pants, the little mountain on their logo , and what I thought would look good. I made the secondary logo the primary, made navy a lot more of a presence, and that's about it.

 

I've got two versions. Here's the first one.

 

The difference is entirely in the pants. The first version has mountains on the bottom of the pants, whereas the second version has the logo on the bottom of the pants.

mountains on the pants is actually a pretty interesting and unique idea, and it works really well. My only thing would to maybe add some sky blue to the wordmarks and numbers, and that's all i see with it. Great job!

I like the mountains on the pant stripe more, I wonder how it would look if the stripes followed the shape of the mountain instead of just being blocks though.

If the Nuggets did drastically change things up (which would be strange, considering they only recently re-designed their jerseys) the set with the mountains on the shorts would look amazing. I particularly love the darker blue as the main colour on the away, reminds me of the Melo/Iverson/Billups era alt, which I particularly like.

I do agree with Htown1141 in that it would be interesting to see how adding a sky blue outline on the wordmark and numbers would turn out.

Took all this and tried to put it into the concepts. I made the blocks into mountains, and added a sky blue outline to the dark jersey. The light one I added yellow to, because sky blue just blended in too much with the dark blue.

I like the text with an outline, the straight stripes, and the mountains on the shorts the best. The pick-axe circle would be great on the waistband. Really like this concept, would love to see what an alternate would look like in this set.

Now that you've added the outline, the jersey is on another level. This would have to be my favourite NBA rebrand on here now. I agree with Bruins in that I'd like to see how an alternate jersey looks.

Here are two alternates I made.

 

The first is a sky blue recoloring of the home/away jerseys with minimal navy blue. Nothing really special about it.

 

The second is their yellow alternate they use currently. I love it. If they're not going to use it as a primary jersey, it should remain as an alternate. The jersey is absolutely gorgeous.

These concepts are beautiful! Great execution and concept with incorporating different elements especially the side panels. 

 

The outline on the wordmark and numbers COMPLETES the set. Good call on the revision. 9.5/10
