Marcos Flamengo 5 Posted November 20, 2018 3 hours ago, dfwabel said: They are smart enough not to and won't. I was making a scenario of what would happen if Disney/ABC would return to the radio business and merge with Cumulus Media and reacquire stations of the former ABC Radio division, Mr. @dfwabel!. And I'm sure that they are smart enough not to create a new radio division and they won't do that, but Disney/ABC would likely want to acquire more of its TV network affiliates from different owners, prompting into a great expansion of the ABC Owned Television Stations division, that would go in this way, according to my scenario: Albany–Schenectady–Troy, New York: WTEN Albuquerque, New Mexico: KOAT-TV Ames–Des Moines, Iowa: WOI-DT Anchorage, Alaska: KYUR Atlanta, Georgia: WSB-TV Baltimore, Maryland: WMAR-TV Billings, Montana: KSVI Boston, Massachusetts: WCVB-TV Buffalo, New York: WKBW-TV Burlington, Vermont/Plattsburgh, New York: WVNY Charleston–Huntington–Parkersburg, West Virginia/Marietta, Ohio: WCHS-TV Charleston, South Carolina: WCIV Charlotte, North Carolina: WSOC-TV Chicago, Illinois: WLS-TV Cincinnati, Ohio: WCPO-TV Cleveland, Ohio: WEWS-TV Columbia, South Carolina: WOLO-TV Columbus, Ohio: WSYX Dallas, Texas: WFAA Dayton, Ohio: WKEF Denver, Colorado: KMGH-TV Detroit, Michigan: WXYZ-TV El Paso, Texas/Las Cruces, New Mexico/Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua: KVIA-TV Fargo, North Dakota: WDAY-TV Flint, Michigan: WJRT-TV Fresno, California: KFSN-TV Green Bay, Wisconsin: WBAY-TV Hampton–Norfolk–Virginia Beach, Virginia: WVEC Hartford–New Haven, Connecticut: WTNH-TV Honolulu, Hawaii: KITV Houston, Texas: KTRK Jackson, Mississippi: WAPT Kansas City, Missouri/Kansas City, Kansas: KMBC-TV Las Vegas, Nevada: KTNV Lincoln, Nebraska: KLKN Little Rock, Arkansas: KATV Louisville, Kentucky: WHAS-TV Madison, Wisconsin: WKOW-TV Manchester, New Hampshire: WMUR-TV Memphis, Tennessee: WATN-TV Miami–Fort Lauderdale, Florida: WPLG Milwaukee, Wisconsin: WISN-TV Moline, Illinois/Davenport, Iowa: WQAD-TV Nampa/Boise, Idaho: KIVI-TV Nashville, Tennessee: WKRN-TV New Orleans, Louisiana: WGNO New York City, New York: WABC-TV Oklahoma City, Oklahoma: KOCO-TV Omaha, Nebraska: KETV Orlando, Florida: WFTV Pensacola–Fort Walton Beach, Florida/Mobile, Alabama: WEAR-TV Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: WPVI-TV Phoenix, Arizona: KNXV-TV Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: WTAE-TV Portland, Maine: WMTW-TV Portland, Oregon: KATU Providence, Rhode Island/New Bedford, Massachusetts: WLNE-TV Raleigh–Durham–Fayetteville, North Carolina: WTVD Reno, Nevada: KOLO-TV Rochester, New York: WHAM-TV Sacramento–Stockton–Modesto, California: KXTV Salt Lake City, Utah: KTVX St. Louis, Missouri: KDNL-TV St. Paul–Minneapolis, Minnesota: KSTP-TV San Antonio, Texas: KSAT-TV San Francisco–Oakland–San Jose, California: KGO-TV Scranton–Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania: WNEP-TV Seattle–Tacoma, Washington: KOMO-TV Sioux Falls, South Dakota: KSFY-TV Tallahassee, Florida/Thomasville–Valdosta, Georgia: WTXL-TV Tampa–St. Petersburg, Florida: WFTS-TV Tequesta–West Palm Beach–Boca Raton, Florida: WPBF Toledo, Ohio: WTVG Tucson, Arizona: KGUN-TV Tulsa, Oklahoma: KTUL Washington, D.C.: WJLA-TV Weslaco–McAllen–Harlingen–Brownsville, Texas: KRGV-TV
dfwabel 4,155 Posted November 20, 2018 The were smart enough to Citadel in 2006 and signed LMAs with Cumulus a few years ago. The same Cumulus which just got out of bankruptcy. There's little money in radio, they're going back in regardless of the you knowing the call letters. This is more pointless than any sports realignment concept.
