Dropping down to 14 games this year probably helped them not be too beaten up when the playoffs started this year but if they go back to 18 games I think they'll want more teams in the league. The four best teams would be promoted to the AFL while the last four teams would be relegated to the AFL 3, the national third tier of the Australian Football League system.
