buzzcut
I fully expect the A's to land Las Vegas as that city is building a new ballpark with vastly improved player facilities. Nashville is next and I expect them to go with the Rangers. With the Rangers leaving Round Rock, the Astros will land there. The Brewers will stick with San Antonio, leaving poor old Washington stuck with Fresno. The CCSLC's resident Geelong Cats fan. Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends. They need to find a way to get Reno and leave Vegas to the D backs. I don’t ever see the DBacks And Aces breaking up. I have heard the Diamondbacks want to keep Reno because of the link they have to the Phoenix Firebirds. I personally don’t wanna see it happen either

That stupid idiotic made-up name needs to be gone YESTERDAY. The main thing is to get away from any involvement with Schwechheimer, who says he wants to be involved in bringing in a AA team to replace the AAA franchise. That guy ruined the AAA franchise here so he could move them on to greener pastures. The Board of Commissioners of the Louisiana Sports and Exposition District (colloquially referred to as "The Superdome Commission") has jurisdictional authority over the baseball stadium and will be to entity to do this. LMU
Milwaukee gets San Antonio. Of course, from a travel standpoint it would make the most sense for the Nats to get Nashville and the Rangers to get Fresno. Alas, sense has never been the deciding factor in these things. It doesn't make the most geographical sense, but I love how the Diamondbacks are, in a roundabout way, honoring the franchise lineage of the Aces as their predecessor by doing this. I guess maybe the skepticism of the ballpark situation in SanAn might have pushed the Rangers away for now.

Sport
For me "Baby Cakes" represented a step too far for Brandiose, their flying too close to the sun moment where they learned that "no, you can't just do whatever you want." And whether it's the identity that did them in or something else, I'm glad that name is going to be a relic.
