So happy the eagles get to beat the Vikings. I like and admire Drew Brees too much to root for him to suffer a snapped femur. I couldn’t care less if any of the Vikings suffer compound fractures or CTE during the game. I kinda hope Keenum snaps something so Sam Bradford has to play and then he gets his head hit so much that his brain looks like a pile of black mush and he can’t remember his children’s names or his ow phone number. I kinda hope it’s so bad that he just randomly twitches too.

why, man

Okay, so it looks like the annual "Super Bowl Regional Cuisine" menu is down to this:

NFC:

Philly Cheese Steaks

OR

Juicy Lucy burgers (no way I'm doing lutefisk or some type of "Hot Dish")

NFC hands down has the better grub.Juicy Lucy's are azmazing.Make it with grilled onions, bbq sauce/mayo or mustard/mayo and grilled onions and you'll have a sandwich that stacks up rather well against a Philly cheese steak.

Cheesesteaks aren’t the Philadelphia sandwich anymore. Not for a long time. Pretty much a tourist thing.

Any other suggestions, other than big pretzels with mustard?

Kidnap Tommy DiNic's and force them, at gunpoint, to make sandwiches for your party. Nothing more Philly than that.

Incredible scenes!

As I had no way of watching the game on TV last night, I checked out the highlights online this morning. What an amazing end to the game! It’s moments like this which make Sport so special, I’m a neutral with no allegiance to either team, but even watching the highlights on my iPad this morning was a thrilling experience, I can only imagine what it must be like for a Vikings or Saints supporter!

I think we have the two teams in the NFC who genuinely deserve to play in the championship game, and I’m happy to see either one of them progress. But it’s a really tough one to predict, my gut says the Vikings, I’ve had them going to the super bowl even before Wentz went down. But there is something special about this Eagles team....

That, my friends, was a soul crushing loss. Yet former Saint Steve Gleason’s tweet after the game not only made me smile - his spirit is untouchable - it started turning the pain into perspective.

Congratulations to the Vikings. I'm so in shock I can't move.

(For anyone unfamiliar with Steve, he has ALS and literally cannot move.)

At 0-2, I thought we Saints fans were on the 7-9 express to nowhere yet again. Instead, we ended up one miraculous play away from going to the conference championship. This is a very young team and the sky is the limit. They’ll be back.

Being a sports fan is remarkably masochistic when you think about it. Every year, 31 of 32 NFL fan bases end up disappointed. The only variable is when.

Have to say that winning that Lombardi in 2009 also makes these moments much, much easier. It is a little weird though to think that Drew Brees is now a free agent.

Just realize this upcoming Vikings-Eagles NFC title matchup will feature in my opinion the coolest matchup of unorthodox helmets the league has to offer: the eagle wings and the viking horns. Love it!

Rams-Bengals are much cooler IMO. Eagles don’t have wings on their heads and Viking horns aren’t actually a thing

Snowballs also haven't been thrown at a drunk Santa Claus in 50 years but that is still synonymous with Philadelphia.
