Big Yellow Flag Posted August 2, 2017 Share Posted August 2, 2017 Didn't see anything about it when I searched, but there's another minor league supposedly in the offing. I don't have high hopes for this one, either. No team names/logos (yet?), but we do have an awful league logo and a map for the teams. I know this one is 99% never going to get off the ground, either, but I don't understand the reasoning behind trying to start so big. I count 31 teams, which is bigger than MLB (100+ years in operation), in an industry which literally never works. At least they'll give us some identities for high schools to rip off? I officiate NCAA D3 and Semi-Pro football in New England, and I am friends with others who officiate FBS, FCS, D2, various semi-pro leagues, and the Can-Am Indoor Arena Football League. If there was another minor league with teams in Worcester and Portland, we'd know about it. I don't know anyone out this way that knows anything about this league.
