FiddySicks
You know what? I kinda hope the US misses out on the World Cup. It might actually be a wake up call that they need to put something into actual development (ESPECIALLY on the coaching side) rather than recycling the same old crap that doesn't work. ninersdd
Chile is out! Argentina avoids disaster and is through. Peru gets the playoff match with New Zealand where they will probably win. DG_ThenNowForever
Kellyn Acosta doesn't quite look up for the position he was put in. At the very least I think we're forever done with Omar Gonzalez on the USMNT. He killed them tonight, no matter what else happens. 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags

They've been recycling the same old crap for a reason: Other than Jurgen Klinsmann, it's not as though world-class coaches have ever exactly been beating a path to USSF's door even when the USMNT's been successful. If they don't qualify for Russia they could be back in the wilderness for a long time to come.

Maybe a full scale rebuild where they actually develop from top to bottom rather than hope for middling international coaches or MLS retreads. DG_ThenNowForever
Oh no. Well, I guess that's that. The US has good company with Chile and the Netherlands, but boy does that suck. Super happy for Panama though. Roman Torres is awesome to watch both here in Seattle and internationally, and I'm glad they have an opportunity for the World Cup. 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags

Rockstar Matt
What a f***ing disgrace. The USMNT needs to change how they operate. We need new blood. Cowboys - Lakers - LAFC - USMNT - LA Rams - LA Kings - NUFC

HedleyLamarr
Can we host the 2022 World Cup, now? So now we waste 4 years off of Pulisic. The good thing is, you don't lose him to free agency, but the best talent we've seen in years has to wait until 2022, at the earliest, to show him off to the world. lordsketor
I think this is the wake up needed for the USMNT. Destroy everything, start over and revolve around young blood and player development. Pulisic is just a piece but they need more than that. But in the long run it will be beneficial for US Soccer as a whole. Many thanks to Discrimihater for making the sig.

MJWalker45
At least MLS won't be as severely affected next summer. Arena needs to hand in his resignation tonight. Gulati will probably go as well. The kids weren't allowed to contribute at the end. I think a player like Dom Dwyer who would throw his body around was what we needed tonight. Gonzalez shouldn't have been on the field. Cameron was a much better option. You can say the field was crap, which it was, but when the whistle blows get on with it.
