When are they releasing those? Those already look a lot better than the DE caps we've had the past few years.

I want to like the Reds' hat, but I don't think it's a good idea to compromise the wishbone C standing for Cincinnati. You shouldn't have two different styles of the same letter. I realize that doesn't leave the Reds with much in the way of brand extension, but maybe they shouldn't be extending their brand in the first place, they're the Reds.

♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

I dig the super retro look the Reds went with. Now they just need to lose the black.

i like the faint black dropshadows.

Besides that?

i agree, black needs to be gone. no reason for the black bill

(and yes, you could[likely rightly] argue the drop shadows needs to be gone. i just like it hahah)

Reds have used black as an accent color for a long time so it doesn't bother me that they use black especially in their merchandise and fan apparel. Should there be less of it in their uniforms? Most likely that's a yes. (I only say "most likely" because at least they've scaled back from all the black they used in the early 2000's)

So with that said, I'm not so sure the Reds are necessarily BFBS.

Staying on topic, that new BP cap for them looks great... as a fashion cap. Sure looks like it would clash with the rest of their on field gear. Too much black and a whole different C... it makes me wonder if they'll have more new on field gear that also uses more black and the different C.

Now I'll need to stock up on even more hats if it is, in fact, a dri-fit feel.

MLB, New Era, Majestic, and Under Armour are all gonna love this... "So even when people don't like our new stuff they give us their money by buying more of the old stuff? This is BRILLIANT!!! Kudos to all of you! Excellent marketing! LIFETIME MERCHANDISING CONTRACT EXTENSIONS FOR EVERYONE!!! MWAHAHAHAHA... MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEEEEEEEEYYY EVERYBODY'S GOT A PRICE! EVERYONE'S GONNA PAY!!!!"

It's the dri-fit stuff more than anything else.  Since I have a rather large head, the dri-fit hats have never fit in a comfortable fashion.  It's just a personal preference.  The jerseys, I couldn't care less since I will more than likely get a couple, as long as the price is reasonable.
