Sure, sure, but what's San Antonio's cap situation for 2018-19? LeBron/LMA/Kawhi (or just LeBron and Kawhi!) would be ruthless.

Funny you ask...but this doesn't include the possibility of trading Pau too.

Quote

Danny Green, Rudy Gay, and Joffrey Lauvergne have player options this coming off-season. Kyle Anderson, Bryn Forbes, and Davis Bertans will each be restricted free agents this summer if the Spurs extend qualifying offers to them. Tony Parker is an unrestricted free agent and Brandon Paul’s contract for next season is non-guaranteed.

The seven remaining players currently account for $78,410,994 in guaranteed contracts after including the final season of Tim Duncan’s stretched contract. With the cap projected to be $101 million dollars for the 2018-2019 off-season, this would appear to leave the Spurs with $22,589,006 in cap space. This is not exactly the case, however. If the Spurs were to waive each of their free agents’ cap holds and waive Paul, they would only have 7 players on the roster, resulting in roster charges equaling $4,156,555 in total, taking their potential cap space down to $18,432,451, which is about half of what the Spurs’ would need to sign a veteran max-contract level player.

If Manu Ginobili retires this off-season, the Spurs would be able to stretch his contract for next season over three years and only owe $833,333 next season. This, however, would result in another roster charge of $831,311 against the Spurs’ cap space, meaning that move would only open about $840,000 in cap space.

Rudy will likely opt in at $8.8M as he cannot get that in FA. Green is set to earn $10M on his option, thus impacting a max FA.

So that's a no, I guess. But in the NBA, who knows. If the legitimate landing places for LeBron are Cleveland, Philadelphia (doubt it but whatever) and LA, SA needs to be up there too if LeBron wants to win. He's never had a coach as good as Pop and, again, LeBron/Kawhi would be filthy.

Boban is why I lost $20 on the Nuggets last night? Nice.

There’s a better chance that Kawhi leaves the Spurs next off season than there is of Lebron joining them

Evens sans Boogie Cousins, the Pelicans are on a seven-game win streak right now and moved up to currently hold the 5 seed in the West.

Despite trailing the Spurs all night (at one point  by 15), they came back and won the game at the end, finally taking a lead for the first time with a little over a minute left, then hanging on to win.

AD for MVP!

It is what it is.

Cousins is no good if you want your team to win games. The guy plays no defense, he needs the ball to be effective on offense, and he might be the most emotionally volatile player in the league despite being a 7 year veteran. That guy's never gonna be on a winning team until he's 35 and ringchasing.

The Lakers are about to be very good. We're going to make the playoffs next season.

We're 17-7 since losing to Charlotte on Jan. 5 and at the time, we had the league's second worst record.

Cowboys - Lakers - LAFC - USMNT - LA Rams - LA Kings - NUFC

Kind of feels like OKC Thunder between 08/09 and 09/10, when they went from 23 to 50 wins. Lonzo is special and Ingram continues to show progress game after game. And thank god they didn't trade Randle, because he's become a total beast.

I didn't think the Lakers could be fun post-Clarkson and Nance, but they are!
