Life isn't meaningless, but today's Game 5 is. There will be so much analysis, planning, sweat, and passion put in to the game, all to determine who has the right to be sacrificed to the Dodgers. The futility of hope will be showcased tonight.

As a lifelong Yankee fan I didn't expect them to beat Cleveland especially in light of Girardi's boneheaded non-challenge in game 2.  Didi reminds me a lot of Tino Martinez in the way he's followed behind a Yankee legend and had success.  That said, I don't expect them to beat Houston either but I'm going to enjoy the ride.  It's a lot more fun than watching the Giants or Jets.

I honestly like Chief Wahoo. :censored: the thin skinned children that don't understand what a caricature is.

Plus that typeface "C" is so bland & boring.

As someone at the receiving end of that caricature, both you and Wahoo can go :censored: yourselves.

Throw a few feathers on the C to make it less bland. A few people on the boards have done it. It looks marvelous.

I still think the Indians should go with the script “I”. Loved that cap and think it would work well as a primary. It’d also be a unique cap letter in comparison to the rest of the league.

I doubt theyd ever do it, but I personally think it’s their best option.

I'm no fan of the Yankees, but I really don't have much hate for their 2017 team.  Unless I've missed something, they built their team the way most of us seemingly have more pride in, then added a couple mid-tier free agents to get them over the top.  They certainly don't compare to the rosters they've fielded in the early 2000's.

Are you sure throwing a few feathers on the "C" wouldn't still be seen as "insensitive"?

Where do we draw the line? Is the Blackhawks name & logo "offensive" now too? How about the Atlanta Braves? or the KC Chiefs? I don't even think I need to bring up the Washington Redskins. How long until "Lucky" (Boston Celtics logo) is considered "offensive" towards the irish?

Sorry, but Wahoo is just one of my favorite sports logos and it's going to piss me off if they get rid of it to appease some overly sensitive "racism" claims.

I like Wahoo...that said, the writing's on the wall, man.  A feathered C would be the best option I can think of, just as long as it bears no resemblance to the block C.

I can see the whole "feathered C" working yeah, but I still think there's no real reason to get rid of Wahoo completely.

It's clear Indians fans still like him too because I almost always see one of those signs with him having a huge bodybuilder physique whenever I'm watching them play at home, which i always thought was awesome. I don't see how something like that can be seen as "racist" or "insensitive".

America loved the caricature of Tojo in 1940s Looney Tunes. Doesn’t excuse it for being racist and certainly didn’t prevent Warner Bros from banning the episodes.

As someone who has watched the Dodgers their whole life, no. Dodgers may win, but they aren’t going to be as good as some expect. They are jinxed in the LCS.

I'm pretty sure that whoever wins this series is going to get absolutely curb stomped by the Dodgers.

I look at their 1920 indian head logo. I think a mix of it and the Redskins logo could work but I think maybe an interlocked CI inside an arrowhead would work too.

Dusty Baker snatching defeat from the jaws of victory in the postseason since at least 2002.

What the h-e-double hockey sticks was he thinking bringing in Scherzer tonight it's one of his most boneheaded managerial moves since Russ Ortiz...
