Even though I most certainly have a rooting interest, and tonight didn't go my way, this has been an EXCELLENT series. One of the best I can remember in a good while.

Game over already? (I'm one of those terrible superstitious people and can't watch games live).

I agree this has been a great series, and it has nothing to do with one of my teams being in it. It's just been pretty well played so far. Every loser of the past three games basically had chances to win it, to the point a hit here or there probably would have flipped the scores. Game 2 reminded me a lot of 2011 Game 6, when the Cardinals twice came back from a 2-run deficit in extra innings.

Wow, just watched some of the highlights. Guess the Dodgers offense came back.

Truly going to be a good series. I think it may very well go the full 7 games. (Yes, I know I said Astros in 5 earlier. That was before the Dodgers decided to have offense again).

But, for a league and a sport that dedicates a day celebrating the colour barrier, and yet be rather weak on this doesn't sit quite well on me.

He would have continued to play even if he had been suspended immediately as he should have been.

And there's the other double-bind: the union is caught between advocating for a player who was a victim of another player's offensive gesture and a player facing disciplinary action. It's similar to my criticism of the NHLPA, where they've been more likely to stand by a player facing suspension for injury than the injured player.

♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

I take back everything I said about collectively bargained rights to due process. Gurriel should have been suspended immediately.

It's a microcosm of 2017 where racists are embolden

I saw, I came, I left.

I still kinda feel like the Dodgers are winning this in 7. This feels a CRAZY amount like 2002. A TON of homers, and the "home" team going into game 6 down 3-2 (Probably, anyway).

The local ESPN Radio (probably a national show) said the following about an hour before the game:  "We expect a 1-1 game tonight, which means it's probably going to be a 11-12 game"

We're getting close to that (one team even has 11).

FYI: No it wasn't Tony Romo that predicted it. :D
