I don't think anyone really doubted that a Yankees/Indians ALDS would be far more competitive & interesting than a Twins/Indians ALDS.

Yankees are probably the biggest threat to Cleveland.

I still have to take the Indians though. Yankees/Indians will be a pitchers duel & I see Cleveland have the edge in both starters & bullpen.

This game is moving at the speed of glacial.

Imagine if we get a Yankees Red Sox ALCS. It might take pluto less time to orbit the sun.

Good season for the Twins! Realistically, that's about the best you could really hope for. That roster isn't really built to hang with some of these playoff teams, yet they made it this far. That's pretty damn impressive considering the dumpster fire they've been the past few seasons.

So if the Astros win the Pennant, would they be the first team to win both an American & National league championship?

That would be pretty cool to see.

Yep. The only other team that has a shot to do that is Milwaukee (1982 AL Champs). But since the Brewers aren't here...

I would've loved to see an Astros v. Brewers WS. The flip-floppers face-off. XD

Wild Card Games:

Yankees vs. Twins

Diamondbacks vs. Rockies

LDS:

Astros (in 4) vs. Red Sox

Indians (in 4) vs. Yankees

Cubs (in 5) vs. Nationals

Diamondbacks vs. Dodgers (in 5)

LCS:

Astros (in 7) vs. Indians

Dodgers vs. Cubs (in 6)

World Series:

Astros (in 6) vs. Dodgers

JUSTIN VERLANDER - MVP

Considering every team (other than the Yankees and Rockies) feature at least one prominent former Tiger. It'd be nice one way or another to see one of these guys win it. Not the Red Sox though, I hate them.

Red Sox- Price, Fister

Indians- Austin Jackson

Astros- Verlander

Dodgers- Granderson

Nationals- Scherzer

Cubs- Avila, J. Wilson

DBacks- JD Martinez

And only the Brewers have the opportunity, whenever it may come, to win a WS game as champion of both leagues.

These playoff games are long, man. Hour in and we've played 2 innings. Sheesh.

Yeah, we need a slew of intentional walks to speed up the game.

I love baseball, I like playoff baseball....but I don't think I'll be watching much before the World Series (and may not see much of the Series, itself).  TV and antsy managers are making these games go way too long.

This game is one of the reasons why I've grown to like the Wild Card round. This is exciting!

And down go the Dodgers

Yeah this is kind of a nightmare scenario for them, but maybe not seeing Grenkie early will help.

Missed both WC games due to work, but will be partially tuning in for tonight's divisional series. Hoping the Indians or D-Backs win it all, though if an established team had to win I'd prefer it be the Dodgers.

Just praying the damn Yankees don't win the classic again.

Calling it now:  Strasburg may give up one hit tonight.  Maybe one.
