jkrdevil
I would like to see lacrosse, however I don't know hom many countries play it outside of the US and Canada. It seems to be a very North American sport. I can't see football being added. It's only played in 2 countries and those are different versions of the game.I don't think you will see any extreme sports. I don't see roller hockey because most of the top players are people who couldn't get too far in pro Ice Hockey. I remember the RHI was nothing but guys from the ECHL and those level leagues.I thought Golf was in the olympicsPersonally I would like to see the olympics go to "true Sports" and cut all these events that have judges. Nick 1733
I only have ONE i would add.American FootballHowever the reason it isn't is because there aren't enough countries that play it, which is why it's not an Olympic Sport, which sucks big time. Oh well, maybe some time in the future.
Alphabet Man
for sports to be considered to be added:summer games:MALE must be played in 75 countries and 3 or 4 continentsFEMALE must be played in 25 countries and 3 continentswinter games:MALE must be played in 25 countires and 3 continentsFEMALE must be played in 20 countries and 3 continentshowever, don't quote me- imay be wrong
Nick 1733
However another reason American Football isn't an Olympic sport is because the Olympics aren't long enough. Because of the one week needed in between each game, that's a second reason.
winters in buffalo
Laundry should be a sport. I'll even loan out the equipment.

slapshot
If Poker becomes an Olympic sports they may as well make Scrabble and Boggle Olympic sports. Hell, make chess and checkers too.

Stampman
Bowling and darts--I just want to see the opening ceremonies with the beer guts on the darts & bowling teams!(I know not all bowlers and dart players have beer guts--but many I see on TV do--It would be even better if they marched in with a beer stein in one hand)
Alphabet Man
with American Football, they could have extended team lists and reduce the game time.....but it'll never be Olympic Sport
JamesCraven
Actually, Tug-Of-War was an Olympic sport early in the 20th Century for the record.
